    • After returning from a long, and despitful return. I've embarked on a new journey in SWG, one that's truely refreshing. I quit shortly after the NGE was released, and turned the cheek ever since. I found there was a free 14-day period for Veterans, so I took the opportunity. I have to say I'm quite amazed by the amount of changes in this game. Everything for the better - I might add. There's more content than ever, including many epic dungeons that will keep you busy for weeks on end. Not to mention the community in SWG is unlike any other MMO out today. The graphics are still awesome, and the sounds are great. Althou I admit they're a little out-dated, they're still enjoyable. I absolutely love this game again, and I'm now a full-time subscriber.

    • I have tried many different games since NGE hit and still SWG is the only game that can keep me entertained for extended periods of time. Until the industry gets beyond the WOW clone phaze I'm resigned to playing (and, heaven forbid, enjoying) this game.

    • I have to agree with Materva26, it is better then then many of the MMO currentley out there. I have subs in WAR, LOTRO, i had in WoW(brrr) and im am playing Entropia. And SwG feels miles more complex then thoose games, maybe not Entropia with its RCE(but thats the only factor). I for one are not afraid to loose SWG anytime soon.

    • I got my first Jedi during Publish 8, also known as PrePub9, as us old school vets like to say. Like everyone else I was pissed off, and quit the game when the NGE came around. To be honest, I have returned to try out the game, and I am having alot of fun. It's different than it used to be, but it still has the StarWars feel going on. The legacy quests for your char are pretty neat in my opinion, and the game actully, is still a SandBox style game. As a Pre CU Vet, no the game is not what it once was, as someone with a open mind, the game is very fun once again and the dev team has put alot of work into it. It's getting much better, and in my opinion, is a MUCH better game than WoW, WAR, etc. Yes, I have played both, WoW had a T5/6 geared char and War I got a Bright Wizard up to 36. SWG is not what it was, but it is becomming something just as good.

    • Very solid game. Has had its ups/downs but its very stable. Best crafting system. Pvp is lacking, but overall a very good game.

    • If you never played this game before the NGE then you might like it. Although it's starting to show it's age. Of course if you played Pre-NGE, then you'll have a had time accepting the game for what it has now become. Overall it's still a decent game, I don't feel it's worth 15 a month anymore though.

    • The game needs a major graphics update for sure. Sound was fine, roleplaying was good on some servers. The game is not worth paying $15 a month now. Not fun anymore for alot of the gamers who were with it in the beginning. Community used to be okay, just sad now. Had lag issues when I played it. Customer Service gets a high score from me cause when I played CSRs responded quick. The game needs to go back to what it used to be and it really does need a major graphics update. The SWG Emulator is the thing to look forward to now.

    • Game is a joke now, takes no skill whatsoever. Don't play this game if you're looking for a challenge imo.
