Time U enjoyed wasting was not wasted

yeah, the atmospheric flight part I don't know if it's possible.

Before any of you flame me, let me inform you that I am no game structure expert, but I am of the impression that SWG uses a 2D positional system with a 3D graphical layer over it.  So it looks 3D, but it's not.  A bit like the original Doom looked 3D but it was really a 2D map with a 3d projection (there were never a floor over another, etc)

I say this because I noticed in SWG when you run up some stairs or an object and u step off, or fall off the elevated area, u don't really fall, u instantaneously warp to ground level.

Also, the jump function doesnt' really jump over anything, it just animates the avatar as if it were jumping.

I dunno, expert opinion pls.

It''s like trying to dent your front bumper by backing into a tree.

Don't mean to flame, but this theory doesn't stand up with multilevel buildings, and being able to swim under bridges (the one in Theed comes to mind). I do understand your point about falling off edges and "jumping", and I do agree that amospheric flight would be too difficult to implement.

Je mettrai l'amour sur dos de moi.
