I have friend at LA who desided 2 tell me what was going.

first off LA got nothing 2 do with the NGE and it was SOE who desided to do it. They say NGE was worked on for almost 8 months that is a lie the NGE was worked on for month and half. SOE hates SWG cuz it take money away from EQ2 and SOE is trying 2 kill SWG off cuz they want EQ2 and Matrix not SWG.

LA is getting ready to take over SWG fully, the NGE will be removed from the game in may of this year and they will show off a new boxxed set that has the old SWG Pre-CU system at E3. Parts of the main game will be removed and put on another server. Jump to Lightspeed will be removed from the main game as it was a bomb and space at prime time has about 5 to 6 players in it.

The game will be going back to pre pub-9 only with a better Jedi system. There will be no perma death for Jedi, it will be like it was in the CU. All toons that respeced 2 Jedi will be deleted and those players will have to start over. Elder Jedi will be made into Jedi Masters in the new FRS system.

Right now SOE has many workers on the SWG fourms posting pro-nge posts. About 95% of anyone posting pro-nge posts are infact SOE workers. SOE is going under as well, they lost over 10 million last year with EQ2 and Sony is thinking about opening up talks with EA or Blizzard about selling EQ to them.

Also LA knows that there are plans for mass protests in the works for SWG by the players along with lawsuits. Infact some players have plans to protest SOE on other hit games like CoH/CoV FF11, WoW.

The date of the pre-cu launch will be right when E3 starts this year.

Even if they do plan to do a roll-back server, I still won't go back. The damage has been done IMO. I'm not giving SOE a single penny of my money!

Unfortunatly as much as I would like to see this happen (though I am SURE that SOE is not fully to blame for ruining SWG) I do not think it ever will... SOE's devs already have a year long plan for patchs new content and fixes... unfortunatly SWG is not gonna change hands in any near future.

OP can you come up with tangible PROOF of what you are stating? If not go back to writing fiction as fiction instead of claiming fact.

Don't see how you can say LA had nothing to do with the NGE.

Julio Torres is LA, have you seen the articles and interviews by him?

when pre-cu come back in may then u know i was right. pre-cu be best system for swg the only peeps that like nge are noobies and carebears and LA don't want noobs or carebears. besides star wars sux swg should not be star wars game cuz then u get fanboiz & LA don't want them 2.

I really wish I could believe you akewlguy. There are so many of these it makes it hard to buy into anyone.
I do so wish and hope SOE bites the dust, but I just doubt it. With the DC comics MMO and some other unnamed MMO (Or is that Plantside?) that's free to play they seem to be fairly solid.
I do believe they hate SWG though. Just look at what they did to it? lol

 I like the idea and tone of this rumor message. SOE loves to lie and to thnk that when I was previewing the CU at Star Wars Celebrations 3 , SOE had just started construction On the DeathStar of SWG - The NGE. Amazing.

 The only thing I do not agree with is the Jump to Lightspeed, I think it should carry though to the new non SOE edition of SWG. ( I love the sound of that as much as SOE does not Love that Jestor!)
