I'm well aware this is the forum for "rumors". But many times rumors tend to be true, as in this case of SWG. Who can deny SWG and its creators and managers (SOE) are the laughing stock of the gaming world? That they've lost all respect and millions in revenue with their new version of Galaxies. That their staff is in turmoil because due to the strong backlash because of their moronic changes. Who can deny the servers are practically running on empty? That their small population are mainly new players who had never experienced Galaxies before now. Who can deny the game play is garbage at its best? That Galaxies is fastly heading towards its demise much sooner then later. No one! At least no one thats mature and sensible enough to know between reality and lies. But although SOE crushed the game and didn't care about all those who had been loyal customers for 2 years in the end we'll all have the last laugh. Something like we're having now seeing SOE getting constantly blasted in the gaming world. Not just by ex-players but by critics of gaming also. We're all very happy to see the mass defections in Galaxies, something thats never happened in any other game. At least not as bad as in this one. So, if you're one of those still paying for this thing they're trying to pass off as a game, be prepare cause sooner or later you too will be out of this game courtesy of the folks at SOE. Don't say you didn't see the writing on the wall or werem't warned more times then not. |

I'll tell you what, after this ship finally goes under and the last ripples disappear, it's gonna be real interesting to see how the next company who takes their stab at it handles the old SWG community. Bet you'll be able to tell a whole lot about what's in store just based on their pre-release PR and community feedback. zen |
