Try Second Life. It takes a bit to get into it, but it's got the same social ambiance as the original SWG, and more, since there's a lot of adult content (and I do mean a lot--this isn't a kid's game at all, and some of it can be pretty raw). There is combat, I understand, but I haven't tried it since I've been spending my time buying clothes and dancing in them. I'm not sure if it's possible to play music, but DJing is a thriving profession, and since most of the content is player designed, I'd be surprised if someone somewhere hasn't come up with a way to do music. Just don't get put off by the initial cartoony look of the game when you do the starting tutorial. Realize that you'll be completely redesigning your character's look later on by buying player made skins, avatar bases, hair, clothes, etc., and that those put anything SWG had to shame. --Chastity Nightdancer |

Where are all the entertainers anyway? After NGE I was pretty much unable to find any entertainers. Seems to me they've already gone. I'm considering starting SWG up once more, just to see what's happened in the last few months since I left, but I'm worried that I won't find anyone. Is there somewhere where I can find a good group of entertainers?

Eisley is really the only place I see them, occasionally I see 1 or 2 in Bestine, Theed, and Mustafar but rarely anywhere else.

Eisley is full of 'Bot's every other music/dancer is someones spambot for the vendor they have. |

Thats true, but I still have not had trouble getting a buff there from one of the ents who isnt a bot. There are some who arent depending on what server you play on. |
