It will never be Star Wars without Han Solo.

To that end, remove spice crafting from Smuggler and give it over to Chef. Secondly, have that skill tree associated with Chef now a choice of whether or not to go 'criminal'. Another possibility is to create the Chemist profession and run with it.

Instead, add smuggling to that tree, much the same way as Investigations is done in Bounty Hunter. Apply the missions to smuggling.

Han Solo may have made Star Wars, but it was his character that made him so likeable.  He had the witty lines and the attitude that made people laugh and really like him.

 

On another note, i liek the idea of making smugglers have thier own investigation line.  i have seen it mentioned often in here and i think that it would make the smuggler much more desirable(fun to play). 

It would also be neat to see the investigation branch (if put in) be more difficult thatn the average delivery mission.  I know im stealing from otehr peoples ideas on here, but i really think that there should be more inspections and perhaps a space component to the smugglers deliveries that make it hard and dangerous for them as well as perhaps an entry on to the bh terminals for failed smuggllings. 

All this wouild make the smuggling profession awesome (and improve BH) but at the same time it may overshadow other professions and take #'s away from them.  We used to have nearly all bh's but now with the invincibility of jedi going up and the good bh's becoming jedi there are less and less and the numbers are finally evening out. 

They have to treat the professions like they are on a scale, but unfortunatley jedi (yes i am attempting to become one too) have unbalanced the scale.  players will always want to be jedi, but perhaps this will make atleast one other profession that much more exciting...
