I dont think moving the timeline would really accomplish anything.  It wouldn't change the way the game played or panned out in any way.  The devs would just say ok were in the new timeline so its ok still to have everyone be jedi. 

I am assuming that you don't like the abundance of jedi in teh game, and that is why you propose a shift in timeline.  So if they move the timeline, it wouldnt be a dirty little stain on the game as it is now, it would be justified madness.

Actually they have hinted about moving it to post EPVI a couple times as well which, imo, would be the best thing. Because then they could explain the existance of the X-Wing XJ in the game (Heavy X-Wing) and all the Advance Tie's and B-Wings that didn't exist until EPVI.

Not to mention the whole Jedi issue.

 Glad you ask,  El-  because SOE still thinks its last year at this time , of course they did their best to fend off the beast know as World of Warcraft after letting months go by in forums with the WoW beta folks talking up the game and then all to late like most of the actions at SOE , they went forum Nazi on the WoW sayers to the point if even forum banning folks.   

  You may ask , what was I going at that time  - supporting SWG and speaking against the WoW folks

 A year does change a lot of things and its the real Timeline SOE has a major problem with .

 Now if you don't Mind , I have a plane to San Diego to catch - Love that Jestor - SOE Does not!

 Ok then, let's move the Timeline along , SOE Style with new expansion "The Trails of Obi - Wan" ( not to be confused with "The Trail of Billy Jack" ) In the present SWG timeline after the New Hope - The Death Star is destoryed and Obi-Wan is now a ghostly form that only appears to Luke Skywalker.

 Will the timeline be skewed or will the players of SWG once again question the Logic or lack of in this rushed expansion? Will a November launch hopefully share ad space with the new DVD and Battlefronts 2?  Betting windows are open.

 NOV  1st -  SOE loses - No retail boxes , Ads in the Sunday paper or any such luck - ToOW is only on-line for those blinded by the Dark Side of SOE's customer service - Meanwhile I just picked up BattleFront II and the DVD - Sweet!

 NOV 12 - Refunds offer for ToOW in light of the next day announcement of NGE - OK then , it goes live on Nov 15 but the retail boxes are not available until Nov 22 , My guess it gives a full week for everyone to quit !  NGE = Now GO, EXIT!  - Love that SOE!
