I think alot of the negative posters are missing the point. From what I can tell your not sueing to get rich. Its about getting answers. More that just a cut and paste answer they give everyone. Its about getting SOE's attention to let them know that not everyone will lay down and take butt pounding they hand out daily. Its about resolving a dispute he has with SOE and why they banned his accounts. I'm interested to hear what happens. I don't know why people want to just shoot you down for standing up to Goliath. Go David!

 Thanks , you are correct , I am challenging the MAN = SOE , the maximum you can request is 5k in California small claims courts and considering my time missed  and effort  and  lawyer fee if I will I would be luck to walk away with anything . 

  My Lawyer had me email the Head MOD at SOE and offer one last shot  make amends , they said no but in doing so they provided quotes from their last straw . A Judge going to laugh him or herself silly when they see what SOE considers offensive . I certainly hope they have something better then that or they might as well offer no defense and write a check to the court and me.

Edit October 30th - My Lawyer and I found a conference website for the industry and one of the guest is my legal friend at SOE.  It was recorded Around Ocotober 7,8 and he appear a little flustered . This was great stuff and the information came in handy !

Your so crazy, sueing SOE cause they closed your account and it caused you to get surgery from shock.

For that, I should hate you for being so obsessed with a game so hardcore.

But I dont know, something makes me kind of like you and respect you, I guess it's cause you fight for what you believe in, despite your slight insanity. Its like if you dont win this court case, my stomach will slightly turn for maybe 5 minutes before I forget about the post. But thats 5 minutes of my life, I might as well start smoking cause thats how much of your life you lose if you dont die of lung cancer.

So what Im trying to say is, well, I dont know. I just hope you win but I still think you should get counceling afterwards. Good luck with your court case.

Ha Im on your side, well, kinda. I believe in what your doing, I think its great. I dont buy SOE games because of this though, I dont buy them cause they are crap.

However, this small suit claims may not do much but I mean at least your standing up against them. My parents deal with this kind of shit all the time from companies that try to siphon money, then my parents tried to stand up and the company started threatening them. So, my parents are suing for this, but its a bit larger on the scale than yours.

Companies do this all the time and they usually get away with it. Im glad your not gonna let them get away with it though.

Hey Jestor- do you still play WOW? Just tell them that after the court session and it will be another bite in their ass  They are always confessing that WOW is a better game lol. Ironic how everyone thought it would be a close call between WOW and EQ2, and EQ2 got pwnt.

Oh yeah, and if your looking for a good sci-fi MMORPG, I hear EVE is good. Since you came from SWG, I guess thats why Im assuming your a sci-fi person. All I hear is complains from the SWG boards about how crappy it is and whenever someone asks for a sci-fi MMORPG people point to EVE.

Now how does that make you feel?  Your parents know and so do I , that we as consumers , small business owners and alike have recourse to injustice preformed by those who think they are higher the us on the Judaical or any other flagpole.  News for them, Small Claims  and Civil Claims is one of the ways we can tap them on the shoulder and reminder them to look at the bigger picture then at their bottom line.

Yeah, Im not sure if I can mention the company's name, but what happened is...

This company asked my parents company for a donation of $8,000 for an anti-racism organization. Well, my parents dont have $8,000 so they had to refuse. The company started sending threats saying they were going to give this out to other companies saying that my parents didnt stand up to racism. This had NOTHING to do with what my parents work in anyways, they work in the audio/home theatre business.

So my parents still refused, but they made a donation of $500 to the anti-racism organization, which turned out to be the maximum donation limit anyways.

So... $7,500 was going to go into an unknown void? And the company wanted my parents to forward the money to them anyways.

So my parents threaten to sue for extortion since they were threatened for slander, and they drop the line of speakers that threatened them. Suddenly, the company turns all nice and they keep wanting to have meetings with my parents to patch things up.

My parents dropped the case but didnt accept the offer to patch things up with the other company because they didnt want to dabble with anymore shit like that.

It's a bit different from yours, but it still is all about how big companies think they rule everything and are above the law, which is total BS. they need to start looking out for their customers and employees and companies that work with them.

 That is a very strange and scary legal tale you have there.  I am sure that a lot of folks would think that my legal tale here is strange but I can ensure all that is not at all scary.

 Well looking in my e-mail box - its the newest Spam mail about "The Trails of Obi-Wan" from SOE - I sent it back to the Head MOD and cancel the email request for the third time and of course added the entursion to my documents relating to my case.

Edit Nov 3rd  Bad News and Good News - The courts register letter was undeliverable after 3 attempts - Security appears to be tight at SOE when it comes to bad news , I will be forced to use a process servers and they have to be a little tricky to have one of the named cornered to give them the news ( Muhahahaha too bad I am not allow to be there).

 Now the Good News ( No did not save a lot of money by switching my car insurance to GEICO) I have been approach by a publisher for my story. Looks like I may make more then 5k on this after all!
