Hi everyone,

seems like SWG is on the up and up again without a doubt.

Why ? Cause suddenly the money farmers have come back to SWG. A well documented case has just happened on the server Europe-Chimaera were some bozzos operated 3 live characters and 27 "clones" out of a player city with an improved job market. The clones were on follow after they got their missions and the 3 active players killed all the 60 mission spawns ... money farming at its finest.

Too bad that someone has sent all their names and screenshots of their routine to the developers and CSRs and they are already moving against this group (see Dev Tracker news).

The whole event is now known as "Attack of the Clones" and a running gag in the SWG forum.

Game is broken .aka unplayable why not screw people over so that they cancel as so many... somany that had grinded their chars to JEDi or something else and got screwed BY SOE it self...SCREW SWG

if you think farmers in SWG are bad...the ones in WoW are ten times worse.  and Blizzard won't do jack to stop them.  SWG Devs at least try to find and stamp out the flat out exploits and bugs that can lead to credit duping.  (i said TRY, they don't always succeed)

as for farmers, if the game mechanics allow it, then i can't say i have a problem with it so long as it does not directly effect me or my friends.  but smooth criminal exploited bugs and dupes, things that are by far very against the EULA.  that's a damaging experience for anyone else who plays the game.

remember when SOE cracked down on the last dupe, they had to suspend a lot of accounts (even people who weren't duping) in order to contain the duped credits from spreading.  SOE did the right thing to stop the problem (they would make ammends to the people who had inadvertantly come into possession of the duped credits), it was the dupers and exploiters who caused the harm.

it is the American Dream to get rich, but not at the expense of hurting others or doing anything illegal in the process.  besides, Sony is a Japanese companies, who knows what those pagans find fun  (JK!!!!!)  :)

Naples you seem to hate this game but right about hold on a sec here^ you state you play I have seen only 3 of your posts and they all seem to be hate rants about SWG if you don't like it so much never talk of it again bury it in the "deepest depths of mordor", to quote RObert Plant.  Take your copy of the game and melt it down to liquid cd material and spread it it opposite ends of the earth never to be made whole again.  Do this my freind and the burden you bear will be lessened greatly.

Money farming......is not SWG only event....

I just ignore them....I don't get why anyone has to "fix" them....I suspect it's some poor kid in China and his family trying to make more money so he can move to a country where he can go to school anyway....what's wrong with that?

And if i pay my hard earned money to do the same damn mission 50 times a week to grind xp...who is anyone to say what i can and can't do with my sub?
