THis Game has Such Great Potential. Only if its Dev Team were complete Idiots, And It had a Different Developer Besides SOE. First off Having the Game time Basis set After A New Hope and Before Empire Strikes back was not a bad a idea.. Until you added Jedi. WTF were u thinking!!! IF your going to make a Star Wars Online Game with Jedi Make it in the Old Republic Timeline! Not the Timline were the Jedi are Extinct!! My adivce to Lucas Arts and SOE is just scrap the game and Start over! Its falling to a lost cause its even worse with there so called new and improved Combat system. Which by the way lets you complete respect your character to anything you want to be so you dont even have to play the game to get to your Template. Again this game Has Great Potential to be one of the Top MMORPG's out there Just Start over and LISTEN WHO ACTUALLY KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT MMORPG! |

Thats so true i quit because of jedi i used to love to pvp and i didnt like that whole spending months grinding jedi and when the people finally got jedi i couldnt pvp anymore because jedi were unkillable. As the devs goes wow they are retarded, half the proffesions just suck completely i mean a master at carbines wont be able to kill a fencer who is half way through his skill tree. Along with half the proffesions in the game. Their are increbliey major unbalances. I mean if they fixed this game up and started over this would be at the top of the lists. Just the devs were retarded and too lazy to fix the game before they released. |

i agree with a different timeline. around knights of the old republic, but not during. that way the characters in the game can create the story line and it just keeps going and going. but jedi are what make star wars, star wars. i wish there would be a new star wars game with more of a story line. i liked the old swg though. i quit because of CU. they tried to make it like every other MMORPG, and imo they ruined it. now im stuck waiting for vanguard:saga of heroes to come out.

So far I've managed to almost ignore the jedi. But I've only been playing for about six months too. A good way to reduce the amount of jedi at first would be to bring back permadeath. But I think the idea is to remove jedi alltogether in order to make the game roleplayable again.
