They lead you to beleive too much that you are directly interacting with the main movie characters and not living your own story in Star Wars.

CU is both good and bad. The good, in my opinion, far outweighs the few things I don't like about it.

I dont see why so much complain about the CU. before everyone was godly, now you actually have to group and it actually takes some skill to kill things.

I tried Guild Wars, and it's much of the  same. Hit a Function Key, flames are thrown, and then I watch the toolbar for 10 seconds so I can throw more flames at monsters. I end up watching the toolbar more than the action.

Are there any good games out there with the old SWG Combat Queue style of play? I bought WoW to try but I bet it's the same "cool down" toolbar watching type game.

till target was dead.  That was wayyyy better.  Not to mention... one good set of buffs.. one good set of armor and a good weapon and you could solo just about anything in the game.
