They need to make a new phobia classification for people that hate SOE.

Is it a phobia? Or is it an immunity to their lies?

I kinda like bobs reply better.

Bought into WoW for about a month, after being tempted by several free trial periods over the years.  Then realize it really was only a grind.  /quit

Bought a new rig recently that could handle BioShock and Sins of a Solar Empire.  Been digging those.  I'm almost always two years behind in my gaming.

I'm ten hours into Fallen Earth and enjoying that, too.  I see some potential for that game.

A friend of mine loves Sins of the Solar Empire.  Says I should get it :).  I played Sword of the Stars for a while.  I think it's similar.  I really enjoyed it, and the online capability.  Also, Fallen Earth recently caught my attention.  I might give it a shot.

I was big into Homeworld way back when.  It was my first experience with online competitive play and I ate it up.  I haven't learned Sins well enough to tackle the online aspect but may eventually.

I recommend anyone missing preCU SWG at least try FE.  No, it's not pure sandbox or open world, but feels pretty close.  I'm not very deep, but there seems to be a lot of character variety possible with the skill system.  Plus,  no orcs or goblins.   There's a free trial going now through Halloween.

*** And I have just learned that our old friend Tiggs is the community manager for FE.  ***

What am I playing? Forza 3 as of yesterday, no PC game worth playing right now (not even Modern Warfare 2), I still occasionally launch CoD4.

SWTOR: sub ended, no thanks to Georg Zoeller!

Been playing Fallen Earth myself.  I've found the game very interesting.  I've enjoyed playing, hopefully I can play it some more, but been hard to find free time lately.

I was playing Fallen Earth the other day and saw the name Tiggs pop on the chat.  Wasn't there a Tiggs that worked on SWG and is it the same one?

Just was wondering what everyone have been playing lately for MMOs.  I haven't played any in awhile, tried COH/COV, but didn't find it that exciting.  That was about a year ago.

At the moment, nothing online.  Have been playing around with Kotor for about the hundreth time..heh.

I'm looking for some new MMO vs returning to an old favorite.   Just for something to do in my spare time.

I play SWG, EQ2, CoH, LotRO and generally try other mmos when they come out - so I will try STO and SWTOR when they get released.   The first 4 are listed in order of how often I log into them from most to the least.   They are the ones I have enjoyed the most.

OH yeah .. I do have a sub for Fallen Earth too - that is also very interesting and play it when both my husband and I can play computer games together.

I'm playing Fallen Earth at the moment.  It's not precu SWG but it's keeping me entertained at the moment.  After the NGE though I've been all over the place playing various mmos.  I would be interested in playing the 'you know what' once they have a live server going.  Hopefully it's finished soon...

~Back to the positive perspective~

I have been really into EvE Online for PvE in a crafting sense. I am going to give Dragon Age a try. I have also fired up Sins of a Solar Empire and play UT III when I feel like I need a FPS.  I did log into SWG last week and installed a DX 10 mod that does what SOE doesn't want to touch. The UI with the silver skin still looks terrible. The rest of the UI looks good. The crafting still is good. But I just wasn't into it. I gave all my stuff away to my old friends and old guild in SWG. Then took my house down. I don't feel a single ounce of regret. That poor game could have been so much more.

 SWG and sometimes EVE.

SWG is better then it ever was. Check my other posts as I am not spamming details of my reasons again.

If you Pre-cu vets actually give SWG a honest try with a open mind, you would find this is still the best sandbox out. I am a recovered hater from 2005 to 2008. Yes I left because of NGE. It's much different now.

I've tried to play it on some of the recent vet trials, but I just can't get back into it.  Most of the people I knew are just not playing it anymore.    To me the game is boring.   None of the stuff they have added has gotten my interested in playing the game again.
