Okay, i have been trying to download the free trial for this game for like 2 days the first time i downloaded it i couldn't get it installed and thought i didn't have enough space turns out that was it but i removed it b4 i found that out so i tryed downloading it 2 more times and they just don't finish (this has been from the SWG website) and the launchpad or whatever has to take like 20hrs im thinking i should just give up

Go to http://launcher.station.sony.com and download the new Launcher from there.  Install that, log into it, select SWG from the menu and it'll download and install the trial for you.  It will take some time since there's around 5gb of stuff to download so it would be best to leave it running overnight.

I have downloaded the new launcher but the time changes around a lot and it says 20 hours most of the time i have some stuff to do today so should i just start it now let it run all day and over night? I realy want to play this game but i just hope its worth all of this. Thanks for replying the first time!

Yeah, 20 hours is about right for a fresh install.  Just start it up and let it do its thing :)

The last time I dl'd from the new launcher it only took about 2hrs, This wasn't that long ago during their last trial . ANd it was a fresh install brand new PC to be exact.

well i hope the game is worth it any ideas on a good server and class i like ranged classes so i won't be jedi as the first one and i would like a populated server and i love grouping

It all depends on your bandwidth I have 8meg high speed cable and it took bout 5 hours from fresh install.EQ2 took alot longer ,but it was twice the size od swg.

i have a light broadband package :( but CoH fresh install took about 10 hrs, I don't know why the sony launcher download is taking longer than the download off the website and one other question i have is when does the trial start from the point i sign in?

Heh, not all of us live in Countries with super broadband ;)  For a New Zealand connection, that 20hours would be rather quick :|

Obraik what server do you play on im looking for a populated server cause i herd that some are dead i want to be able to interact and group with people

Most of the servers are complete ghost towns.  A FEW of them have some active players.

Bria, Bloodfin, Euro-Chim - Those are your best options.  You might see 75 - 100 people logged on one of those servers at a time.  It's enough to interact with but it's a far cry from most MMO's. 

Certainly don't start a toon on one of the empty servers where there are literally no players.
