How often will you use Vivox in-game voice chat?

well i was told that i may have 7 more days on my vet trial so if its up and running with in that time ill give it a go.

as its not working just yet in game its broken they are blaming the rebs and imps :)

I will use it a lot

It was fixed with Thursdays patch, the MOD (message of the day) has not yet been updated to reflect that.

I'll probably still use Vent more when I'm talking amoungst my usual community of peeps which are spread out across multiple guilds as Vent's much more conveniant for that.  However, the IG chat is perfect for pickup groups and just talking in-guild and I'll be using it alot for that :)  Especially in the case of pickup groups as it can be a bit of a PITA to pass out the vent info each time you get a new person joining the group.

I dont use any voice systems.   There are a couple of companies working on integrating voice into the game unfortunately there is a larger section of players who can't use it then these companies realize.   I am one of them as although I can hear I dont hear well as I am loosing my hearing.    There is one game that is refusing to install it that is being launched called chronicals of spellborn that has stated its reasons why and frankly I agree with them.    People get marginalized enough as it is if they have problems due to disability in games , although technically you should not be marginalized it does happen.  Adding a built in voice feature only adds to that problem.    Anyhow that's my rant.   People who can't use it have had to in the past put up with various comments like we aren't social or whatever now that this is available it will be expected as a game requirment and for the first time I have had to come out and say that I can't use it and why and even put it into my profile in hopes that people will let me group anyhow. 

These features just help to serve as another reason to exclude those that can't use the system for whatever reason.  Lastly since its more bandwidth I expected lag as the few times I have tried ventrillo I have experienced lag and low and behold I now have lag and have to disable the entire thing.
