So, when players do anything monumental in the upcoming KOTOR MMO, will monuments to their battles, evidence of their deeds, etc. show up in the SWG MMO (which, as goes without saying, takes place almost 4,000 years later?)

Also, if a KOTOR MMO player somehow leaves their belongings or something underground in a crypt, on a moon, in space, or anyplace archaeological, can an SWG player dig up that KOTOR MMO player's artifact in SWG?

I would love to see how the actions of the players in the KOTOR MMO change anything in SWG! Will anything like that happen?

That would be cool. But they're two seperate companies. SOE has swg and Bioware is doing KotOr. So its a definate no

If you need another no, here you go, no. If anything like that ever did happen either the comapnies would merge(which won't happen) or they come to some type of agreement(but thats 1 in a billion)

SWG is only developed by SOE, it can be considered as LucasArts though too.  If this so called Kotor MMO turns out to be true, both will ultimately be controlled by LA - LA is in control of what goes into SWG and I doubt it would be any different for a future SW MMO too.

Who knows, maybe LA will end up doing something like SOE does with their MMO's where you can pay a flat fee and get access to both MMO's

Stop kidding yourselves.  SWG isn't going to be an option when another Star Wars MMO goes live.

It is ridiculous to think that SWG will function when the next Star Wars MMO goes live.

However, he actually has a cool idea.  That would be really unique to do, though it isn't feasible with how SWG is set up.

Bioware/EA will want NOTHING to do with SWG.  They want to position themselves as far away from this monstrosity as possible.  If there ever were 2 good Star Wars MMO games out, this might be really cool.

By the time Old Republic Online is even close to release the SWGemulators will be in full swing and each one of them will probably have 3-4 times the population as SOE's game.

I get how it's not feasable with Bioware trying to get away from SWG, but could it be possible with the programming?

Could it be possible to choose one person out of every fight even if it was just between two characters or NPC's and have one of them be a corpse that is lootable but make it so it is only lootable once?

I own KotOR 2 so I know that the lightsabers (at leasts in the second) are upgradeable. There could be some sick lightsabers out there. And more colors, Orange, Silver, and Veridian.

Its a sweet idea.

And yes i know there are Orange crystals but not everyone can get them.

i come in paece untill i shoot lol i do come in peace

Every accomplishment once started as an impossible dream.

The only true way to know, is wait for the game to be released.

Until then... rumors will fly and SWG vets (That still love beating the dead horse) will pray and wish this is SWG2.

I have zero hopes for this.  Why should I?  It seems every other company loves to release crap.  What's different about Bioware?  They don't have a perfect record either .

Don't count all the eggs before they're in the pudding.

I'm not interested in KOTOR after reading that the Bioware devs have been playing World of Warcraft and using that game as inspiration.
