We all chipped in and tried to pay him, but he did it out of the goodness of his heart. Yes we donate our time and effort for a good cause while the fanbois are just apologists for a seedy corporation. Smed probably laughs at them every night before he sacrifices babies and howls at the moon. |

Originally posted by dalevi1 I doubt he is paid, but the dude is the biggest fanboi since Wepps. SOE can do no wrong in his book. It's almost as sad as that one guy in Austin who still swears Brad is going to turn Vanguard around. You just watch.
Umm this post was my opinion and it was about my 3 days back into swg,NOT about Obraik or if hes a paid SOE employee or not. I will be glad to post some screenies of the players I am seeing in the game give me a couple days to gather some up. This post was not to give praise to SOE it was for the players out there that are sick of wow or any other mmo that might be thinking about trying or returning to the game. Like I said the interface still sucks ,but the over all game is not bad at all right now and the combat looks pretty good and with melee animations back in place its fun to see in combat. I am currently playing this and EQ2 in the process of deciding on my next game to play until Ryzom or Warhammer releases:P |

Personally, I am going back to Ryzom. I am sick of Tabula rasa after a month, I mean not disgusted, just tired of it. More socialization and it would be a great game. Warhammer is going to suck. Play WoW, move on to LoTRO and then play AoC, and you will know exactly what to expect from war. Anyone stating differently is pulling your chain. And to sum it up, like wepps, Obraik is an unpaid tool (unlike tuel). I am glad you are having fun in SWG. Let me know how long it takes you to grind out those 58 buffs you need for effective PvP. |

| Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom. Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR. |

I tried the trial about a year ago, made a jedi. Now my only problem was the fact that game would crash about every 30-40mins. I tried to get tech help but no one from SOE got back to me before the 14 days ran out. At the time all the drivers and such were up to date and had no issues with any other games. So I figured maybe it was just this being an old game having issues with newer software and hardware. Is the game stable for everyone or is crashing fairly common? |

Bloodfin stats from last Friday for GCW officers, remember that the vast majority of players on a server are not ranked GCW officers, and if you don't log in at least every 14 days you fall off the chart as well (think vacation time). So 18,505 pvp kills during the week, it would seem to me that there are people in good numbers playing on Bloodfin. _________________________________________________________________________________ 667 of 8436 Officers shown (7.9%). The Officers shown have all in all 1606186 PvP Kills (2408 average). Last week the Officers shown gained all in all 18505 PvP Kills (27 average). There were 74 promotions, 44 demotions and 23 respecs (Full Respec-Stats). Of the Officers shown there are

The difference is that yo defend people and actions that are and were unethical -- he attacks people and actions that are and were unethical -- therefore it is far more more likely that YOU get paid to defend bad guys, because it boggles the mind that someone would DEFEND bad guys and bad actions for free. Your position, whereas I do believe it is honestly yours, completely astounds me. I haven't a clue as to how a human being could do what you do and NOT get paid. It does seem that is the case -- however bizarre it may be. It is far more likely that someone would bash bad guys and bad actions for free. That's what people do when they feel they or others have been wronged, they try and fight it. |

I support the game because I enjoy it and provides fun to myself and my friends. If I enjoy/like something then I generally like to share that experience. Good experiences with anything are under-represented IMO. Heh, maybe that's why the NGE happened in the end ;)

Today you have a choice to be happy or sad, positive or negative. |
What is "bad" about those numbers? |

No, bad guys because they knowingly lied to their customers. The NGE was under development WHILE they were discussing upcoming features that they KNEW they were never going to deliver on. That certainly makes them bad guys. Your response pretty much provs my point. You KNOW the issue, know why they are bad guys, know why what they did was wrong, and yet you chose to willfully mischaracterize the issue in your response, Why someone would willingly do so without being paid for it is truly bizarre. |
