Okay vets you all have 30 days of free gameplay because of the new publish!  I know i'm going to get flamed, but as a 5 year vet returning i want you all to just try and give your 30 days a chance and come join all of us returning  vets on kettemoor! make a new toon and get in touch with one of the many Novus/SoK members as soon as possible for one of the best SWG experiances i've ever had, and i'm confident you'll feel the same!

sweet, is there a limit as to when you can use it, or is it at yer disposal to use, i just wenrt back to eq2, and wouldnt mind another month of swg.

Well, I just finished another 30 day trial earlier this month and quite frankly I was still bored out of my mind.

Levels and loot just isn't for me.

Not sure if i will go on ketemoor bud, i have a master crafter shipwright and elsers on bria, i miss crafting ships, im gonna hang there with my guild, but thank you for the offer for kette.

I was just thinking that maybe it would be worthwhile to give the current subscribers one month free to celebrate 5 years of SWG.

ok might as well put this all in one post, as of now eq2 has 2 free months with all the expansions as well as eq w/all expansions even if you just tried the trial you can go back for free, vanguard has a free week for returning players and you get a special mount if you subscribe (eq/eq2 you get to keep all the expansions free if you return to sub) and swg has a free month to all returning players as well.

Since you still play and obiviously want others to play with OP, tell the developers and SOE that if they want us to stay and play, they need to make the GAME fun again.  Right now it's possibly the worst MMO I have ever played.  There is no way a reasonable person would pay for SWG as it is today over games like WoW, AoC, CoH/CoV, EVE, and any of the new crop of games coming out....

The most fun experience I have in SWG was Day 2 of launch, in 2003, when I had skills, a sandbox world, wasn't restricted by class/level/quests...  I Nothing you do on Kett today will come close to that, sorry, nice try. 

Us Vets have a high standard to which we hold games to; UO and Pre-CU SWG.

The NGE just doesn't come close to touching that and most of us if not all will never pay a premium for something so lacking and dull.

That's okay thunderous, everyone has their own opinion.  I was a beta tester for this game, and loved it since day 1. Yes NGE is not as good in any way shape or form as pre-cu was, i know.  But the devs have implemented many things lately which are making this game worth while.  You don't like SWG in its current state, i do.  Just like you just said WOW and AOC are good crop games.  I think WOW is the biggest excuse for a good mmorpg, and i bought AOC and unsub'd after a week.  I think it was the biggest flop ever.  It's just opinions, i too am a pre-cu vet.  Many vet's are coming back to SWG it just depends on what you like.  I've played ton's of MMO's and can never stay sub'd long enough to do anything because i try to compare them all to SWG and they, in my opinion, stink.

When does this free time start? I'd like to pop back on for old time's sake.

Nope, I've not got it, and there's nothing in my account details that would suggest I have (EQ2 has 'pending' for example). Is there an official announcement somewhere?

Oh.. seems like I have some free time. I'll give it a try once it has updated the client.
