Everything else during that phase can all be snared/rooted. You do have a few chances of missing the Executioner though - if he gets through once it doesn't have to be a fail. |

The executioner cannot be snared, rooted, or othewise stopped from moving except by killing him. Therefore a smuggler adds nothing but mediocre DPS to an EK group at its most critical point. My experience is if you can get past that phase of the instance the first time, you've got a good shot at bringing Exar Kun down at the end. If not, you're going to run out of time because the rest of it is pound on a rock until it breaks. |

Now the attack like all attacks has a chance of missing on a bad roll but it does in fact work very well. |
