Had I not just had a free month I might have believed it!  Okay, I still wouldn't have believed it, but my saying it is the worst MMO currently on the market would be a couple months out of date.  As it is, I logged in at one point during the past month and I can say with no reservations that the game is still the absolute worst MMO currently on the market.  Hooray!

I don't beleive SWG is the worst on the market considering all these no name crap games that I see in the box to our left.  However, SWG is pretty bad at this point in time.  I wouldn't recommend it to any friend unless maybe if it was F2P.  If it was F2P I'd possibly consider it.  What was once one of the greatest of all times has fallen so far....

 Do believe, it is the worst out there right now.

I play SWG with my guild members .We have 3-4 accounts each, so people that don't know how to enjoy the game are just kids that need constant hack and slash to call a game fun. We have events that are player generated that will have people laughing, such as comedy night Oct 18th 2008, Spirit City Cantina ,Scella  Server. We spend millions of credits buying rare pictures ,so farming the game for credits would pay some dollar deprived gamer well these days.

So you and your friends pay for 3-4 accounts each to enjoy a glorified chat room?  I notice you didn't mention doing any of the provided 'content' as part of your events.  Considering the core game mechanics are the worst of any MMO available, I fully undersatnd you and your guild doing things that don't require engaging in the game mechanics, but I don't understand why you would need to have more than a single account.

Having a single account for the single worst MMO currently on the market is bad enough, having 3-4 is flat out insanity.  Hell, having more than two accounts back when the game was good was insane (I only had one myself).  I can't imagine why anyone would feel the need to have more than one now.  Okay, I can't understand why anyone would want to have one now, but that goes without saying...

 We have accounts on WWIIonline, also 7 year old engine, some people just get more out of intelligent game play with friends and yes we do instances also ,I sure you haven't played in years ,so you don't know that much about the updated game. But you probably have a house in a city with 2 million credits taking room from active players. And please inform us about this new MMO engine more worthy of our dollars, so i can have a chuckle.

Trust me most of us here know exactly how horrible the current "updated" game is! That either through the more or less constant running temporary veteran account activations or the free game trial.

Take a look at the list of games on the right of the website.  Then take a look at the list of games on the dropdown menu that says "Dare to be different".  Any one of those games is better than SWG.  That isn't to say that they are all good or fun games, most of them suck horribly, but they are all still better and more fun than SWG currently is.  The only thing SWG currently has going for it are the Star Wars related graphics.  That is the only reason the current game is even still around.  Without the Star Wars IP, SWG: NGE would have the same number of players as Planetside.

The game is good currently.

Its Not the POS that it was when we got screwed with the NGE on November 15th, 2005.

And its not the buggy POS that it was back in April 2005 or July 2004.

It's different.

Its Star Wars.

It is a work in progress to be sure....but its getting better all the time.

It's not the worst mmo out there, but it certaintly isn't good.  i would say at best it's decent compared to what it was when the nge hit, but still utter crap when compared to what it once was.

The best is "It's different"....   I love that... classic.

I have a 66 mustang with no wheels and a fishbowl for a motor, also it has 12 spoilers and is made of rust only.. no paint just rust.    I am sure people would love to drive it around  "It's different"......  LOL...  so good.
