Supposedly BioWare Austin has been soaking up old devs from Star Wars Galaxies. Also a friend of mines friend, whom I also know, was in the application process for a marketing job for BioWare Austin. In the second Interview she was asked if she was familiar with Lucas Arts, their IPs, and former games. She was asked if she knew what MMO meant and if she played any. She was also told flat out that they were working with Lucas Arts at the end. Now although this girl, who isn't a gamer and has no reason to lie about it, could possibly be full of bantha fodder, lets give her the benifit of the doubt for a second. Would you, disgruntalled SWG vets, give BioWare a shot if they did a Star Wars Galaxies 2 game with SOE nowhere in sight? Or are yall so burnt out on the star wars idea that they would be stupid to try again? Just curious what the vets think. |

Well, so far Bioware hasn't done any wrong by me. I have enjoyed every Bioware game that I have played, I'm very willing to give whatever it is a chance. I can tell you that Bioware puts out quality products, even though KOTOR had some glitches in it, it was and still is one of my favorite RPG/Star Wars game of all time. That being said, if it's true about some of the old SWG devs being involved along with Rich Vogel, I'm curious about this. Could it be that LEC is wanting to try to reproduce a SWG-esque MMO? I'm hoping that's it, but even if it's not I trust Bioware to make a good game. |

If Bioware is doing a starwars MMO I hope to god it doesnt in any way shape or form appeal to SWG vets or else there is going to be nothing but moaning and complaining about how its not pre NGE SWG and pre NGE SWG was better and if they changed this and that it would be like pre NGE SWG. |

So what ever they are cooking it might be something that is the total opposite of what most VETS are looking for or it might turn out into something most VETS are looking for. I just hope for the best and wait and see..... |

If Bioware put out a SW MMO, I'd certainly give it a shot. They have a good record of making games that I enjoy. |
