A Source close to Bioware, apperantly,  revealed that the MMO being developed in Bioware's Austin Studios is making Knights of the Old Republic Online. This site claims it is not a rumor, and I can only hope they are telling the truth.

I browsed arouned their site. They seem decent. I believe their telling the truth. Kotor 3 ftw!

about time! Maybe SWG will finally R.I.P instead of trudging along on a respirator >.>

I wouldn't say it's complete BS, however an official confirmation would make me feel better.

Huh... you're right, that is interesting. Can't believe I missed that. On another note, there was someone in another thread here who kept saying "Just wait, it's only a short time" when I said "Interesting, would you happen to have anymore tasty information to share with?" he simply said to wait. Granted, it could all be BS, but I thought it to be very interesting that he sounded so confident as opposed to how most of us here use a more speculative tone.

Mass effect is out from what I hear, and hopefully that will mean that their MMO will be announced sometime soon (after the hype of mass effect goes down)

i would believe this whole thing completely, but, on the bioware site it shows that the mmo project and the lucas arts/bioware project are 2 different things (go to bioware games and look at the in development ones...mmo and new LA/Bio different>_<)

I saw that too Rogueseven, but how do we know for sure? for all we know they could've put it that way on purpose.

KOTOR 3 MMO = Bad

KOTOR MMO = Good

KOTOR 3 should be a single player campaign.  A LOT of people would be upset, including me, if they made the third one the MMO.

I do not know if its KOTOR or the rumor of no its Indiana Jones I don't work for them.

I don't have a inside source alls I have is the public info SWG needs its contract renewed in febuary 2009 Bioware and LA is working to release a MMO in 2009

A product that is struggleing to even achieve 100k subscribers is not much of a money maker which means poort business choice I been a day 1 swg vet survived all the garbage they gave us along the way alls I can say is if they do not do something drastic Once AoC launches I will be leaving SWG for good.
