The Greatest Story Ever Told Yours.

SWG is still a great game the crafting and harvesting are still the best I have tried of other MMO's EQ2, Vanguard, there is nothing like have a good blaster in your hand!

My main reason for gooing back to SWG was to wait for POTBS but since I have been back I'm really enjoying the game again.

Take that 21 day trial but first read the game guids in the SWG Current fourm and get that great Interface mod from the nice Britsh guy.    -Anach http://www.anach.tk

The game is getting better each push they make so if you don't think I telling the truth try it out, SWG still blows the doors off WoW.

MAIN FEATURES: EXPLINATIONS OF EACH:

-The Aurillian Township-
"This is an amazing new township on the planet of Dathomir, which is somewhat familiar to the Aurillian Village back in the days pre-NGE. However, much beauty and graphical work has been put into it, and will be nothing players have ever seen, aside from the fact that it will be an actual Town of technology, and not a village.
The township's main purpose is to provide players with exciting never-before seen type of quests and willl challenge the greatest of groups through lairs and small realms of heroic MOBs and NPCs. Discover while obtaining new rewards, new items, and fending off new MOBs."
--DevChat Log
There was also mention of few rewards that can be obtained. I was able to find out that new high stated jewelery, rare weapon schematics, new DNA samples, and container pockets for belts will be some of the many loot drops and rewards for the Aurillian Township.

-Origin Points/Story-
This is expected to greatly enlighten the roleplaying universe and those who just love a good lore. With the "Origin Points System", players will be able to create the story of their character with enourmous wide varieties leading to specializing many different skills.

After you create your origin, your story, and your traits, you will be given "origin points" into various skills and attributes depending on what your background is.

Collection System
Not much was said about this, except about the rewards, and the extremely vast amount of collections you could accomplish.
"This system we have built will make it so it is guarenteed that almost NO player could accomplish every single little thing we have installed, unless one were to work on just this for dozens of hours a week for a year or two. Rewards for these numerous collections can range from exciting new (never-before seen!) furniture, to new animations and positions including the old Meditation Stance. Like stated before, the majority of the new content and rewards we want to be left as a suprise Smile " --DevChat Log
Later in the post they also mentioned something about another collections reward that would allow us to store more items in our houses/structures. These "pieces of data" would come in increments of 100 item allowance, and you could collect as much as you wanted until you reached the cap, which will be a 5,000 item allowance.

-The Imperial Themepark-
"Think of this much like the update of the Rebel themepark back in the previous chapter. It is Imperial, it is far more harder, it includes a new collection of rewards, and will be one-hundred times more fun than the one originally created in the pre-NGE. The Imperial Themepark will be especially for levels 85-90 with a different twist and feel to the original questline. You will not be doing 5-8 different missions for each NPC like in the current themepark. We plan to put this on TestCenter later this week." --DevChat Log
The Imperial Themepark HAS already been tested, unfortunately, since I did not post this any sooner. Expect -AI- looking for YOU to be in a group to run this with us.

I"ve been keeping up on what the Devs have been promising, and half that stuff has never been mentioned by a redname.

In fact, NONE of that post 7 stuff has been mentioned, except the vague reference to CH8 being space, and gardening/droid commander coming in the future.

Show me don't tell me.  I've heard too many SOE lies to take anything on faith.  And nothing there about increasing professions, bringing back skill systems, or fixing the atrocious combat system and UI..

Oh, or animations.

I read posts, via the dev boards, that they put out the Imp theme park.  Allready, posts about insane difficulty and the forum horde flaming to the max.

Before they put out more difficulty requireing groups, one might think they would try to get the population up on all servers, not just the 3 that every1 is transfering to.  Great Job DM.  New content and no1 to do it.

Heh, the clamins of insane difficulty again :D

A Jedi and myself have nearly finished the entire series, we only stopped because I needed to get to bed.  It's definetly a challenge, but it's far from impossible - if you know what you're doing ;)

Your post is propoganda.  It should be moved to the "rumor board" because half of what you stated hasn't been posted at all by SOE devs.

Huh?  Where to start;

I stated that I had read posts of the Imp Theme Park being out, via the development boards.  Here it is

The Imperial Theme Park

  • New adventures await those who work for the Galactic Empire! High level Imperial citizens should speak to Kaja Or'Zee at the Emperor's Retreat to begin the journey.

NEXT, I stated that there had been complaint posts of the new difficulty;

The PVE is rediculously hard.  I am typically a solo player and I can't solo the azure cabal quests or the imp theme park quests and I also find it imposible to find a group for these.  It needs to be made less dificult.

We know it is tough to get a full group together and now you really almost need a full group to accomplish some of the instances.  With that said, say you are able to get a full group and you take on HK.  You fight, and fight, and fight... It takes forever to finish.  Not everyone has enough time to devote to this game to think they would want to sink so much time into actually doing things like DF and HK.

Before the PVE changes my guild would suit up and do the Musty quests or the DWB all the time and it was very fun.  Now, even within my guild it is difficult to get enough people together to do these things.  This change is a direct result of the PVE difficulty changes.  I think the reason, for the most part, is due to how long it takes to actually finish.  It's a matter of time spent/reward gained/fun had, and frankly a lot of people simply aren't having fun doing these PVE quests as they are at the moment.

When I found out about the difficulty changes I was pretty excited as things did seem pretty easy but upon the implementation of the changes I was baffled at the leaps and bounds taken.  Anyway, that is my two cents.

Also, I would like to add:

Spy got nerfed for being able to solo things like a kryat using VP.  So, why is it fair that a Jedi, BH, or whatever other profession can accomplish this is able to do so?  I realize VP'ing pretty much made a spy untouchable (but it was also INSANLEY BORING to do), something had to be done about it but instead of a decent fix spy has to hit the drawing board to figure out how to survive in PVE.

I guess my point with this last paragraph is, Profession Classes seem terribly unbalanced in PVE currently.

I hate the changes.

I liked it pre Chapter 6, it was a challenge for me on my toons, now I can't do alot of the stuff solo or in small groups like I used to do.

I've Canceled  2 accounts and explined why to SOE.

If HK/DF1/DF2/Da NK etc... droped loot for all people in the group I could understand the changes, same for DWB.

Also with Group XP so non exsistant, I can't help lower lvl guildes or be helped by higher lvl guildes with my lower lvl toons.

Wasn't the CU scraped because you needed 50 million buffs/stims/power ups to compete both PVE and PVP, seems we have come full circle.

Rehashing stuff that SOE said didn't work before seems dumb to me.

I wish they would take small steps instead of Giant Leaps, either there trying to sink the game or there just not very proficent at there jobs

because their still not listening to the players, or listening to the vocal minority.

Anyways just my 2 cents

Regards

Axor

p.s. I'm one of the many people who rarly post on the fourms but felt this change to the game warrented a request that the DEVs revert to pre CHP 6 difficult or tone it down to make it more available to the majority of the playerbase.

ETC, ETC, ETC.............  In fact read the whole 70 pages if you like. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/posts/list.m?&topic_id=338849

THEN, I posted about the "forum Horde" already flaming the people who place complaints;

The PVE is not too hard.

I myself can solo most mustafar instances still. But certain instances require a full organized group. It's not that hard people, just LRN2PLAY!

Sorry, sunshine, but "good guild" isn't applicable only to packs of uber leets that have all day and all night to play.  I belong to an exceptionally good guild of roleplayers, a good number of whom are first week vets who have stuck it out through everything SOE has thrown at them.  Not a single player in our guild has anything positive to say about this latest round of changes and most are pretty disgruntled by them.  More enjoyable might be your opinion, but while that may fit YOU well, it has obviously not been so well received by the majority.

When the PvE difficulty gets jacked up to the extremes it has been without bringing less powerful classes in line with the difficulty so that they can survive a fight with a mob of equal or lower level and at the same time do NOTHING to increase the XP and loot rewards for these more difficult mobs, then you have a serious problem.

There is absolutely NOTHING enjoyable about getting sent to the cloners by a single green mob while trying to maintain your harvesters.

There is NOTHING enjoyable about feeling like you can't participate in higher level content when you're level 90 with no specials or heals to offer your friends after you put the armor on their backs and want to help them help you get a few measly kimogila scales or work the crafting droids in DWB to make them some more.

There is NOTHING enjoyable about blowing an entire evening grinding crap alone on a level 70something combat drone to get one sodding level because your friends feel guilty for driving down your XP gain by being higher level and spending time with you.

I DO NOT post propoganda and rumor unless I qualify it as such.  OK  Cabalist, are you now going to petition a mod to move it back?

Mods:  Before you act on a question on my posts, you might realise that I'm in the evidence business.  Fair enough?

You and I both know that a medic and a jedi (both together) are just about the best of the best.  But why argue with me,  read up a
