Ok SOE Fan Fair 2007 is over and SOE has not announced an expansion for Star wars Galaxies this year.So why would SOE do this. The core game of Star wars galaxies is polished and is ready for an expansion packs, but they did not announce this year so why?Well i think the reason why that cant announce and make an expansion pack for Star wars Galaxies has some thing to do with lucas arts.

Ok we all know that the active subscriptions numbers of SWG took a big hit and went down faster then SOE would thought and the game never full recover after that day.So when that happens a mmmorpg gets shut down, but SOE/lucas arts never shut it down so why in hell didnt they shut down SWG.Well in 1Q OF 2006 lucas arts planned to make a other star wars mmorpg and started shopping around other developers and their top two were Cryptic Studios, home to MMORPG City of Heroes, and Canada-based BioWare, maker of the action RPG Jade Empire.Out of the two bioware won the talks and got the star wars rights to make a other star wars mmoprg. So where does this leave Star wars galxies and SOE.Well SOE made a deal with lucas arts to keep Star Wars Galaxies Going for two more year.Ok the deal was that they will improve the core game of galaxies and get it mostly complete and polished by 2007 and then they will rebundled SWG.The bundled maybe called Star Wars Galaxies:Complete which will inclulde all 4 expansion packs,All 1-8 Chapters, and it will come with a bonus dvd like the one they had in Star wars galaxies the complete Online Adventures and it will come with the Naboo Royal ship the one that Queen Amidala used to escape the Trade Federation blockade in Star Wars Episode 1 and will cost 30 dollars. And it will be Release on november13 2007.A other part of the deal was to get active subscriptions numbers around 500 thousand to 1million to get swg making money again. All these requirements must be complete by 2008.If they are not SWG will get shut and bioware can announce what is their new star wars mmorpg is and when beta and Release are.If they are meet then SOE can keep swg goimg for as long as their want. Where does this leave bioware well lucas arts does not know and they are not planning on soe to meet this requirement so if they are meet they dont knwo what to do with bioware and they star wars mmorpg.

Ok guys SWG is not doing good here is why.Well one it has been two years and the subscriptions numbers of SWG are still low and over 3/4 of the sever are still empty.and if the subscriptions numbers of SWG was doing good then why has soe not Release the numbers yet.Two it has been two years and still no expansion pack for galaxies. There they have stop trying(at least to me) advising and making trailers for swg.And four they bundles are not selling in stores. All these facts i have sayed says why i think what i have  said is happing right now.

OK  bioware Austion the people who are working on the mmorpg are  looking for a Producer-Licensor Liaison

HERE IS THE LINK: www.bioware.com/bioware_info/jobs/positions/austin_producer_licensor_liaison.html

SO PROGRESS SHOWS THAT IT CAN BE AN OUTSIDE IP (STAR WARS ) so there is a change bioware can still do a star wars mmorpg and more links to come soon.

ok guys i fidn this job on the lucas arts website.

Sr. Director- Online Gaming Business Unit

http://www.lucasarts.com/company/job/job?job=LEC00797

Job Purpose: To lead the Online Gaming Business Unit including managing the Star Wars Galaxies service and establishing new Online Games consistent with publishing goals. Reports into the VP of Global Publishing, and will have up to five direct reports.

Hw said Establishing new online games consistent wih publishing goals so they is more proof that bioware could be making a other star wars mmorpg and more inforamtionabout the job onthe link to the website.

So, where did paragraph 2 come from -- this big plan?  Considering the millions in up front development cost and time required for an mmo, do you really think that bioware is going to toss that away without a guarantee they can release when they could be focusing on their own profit-generating projects?  If SOE's swg manages to be successful, are SOE and LEC supposed to hand over the millions that Bioware spent as well as future revenues lost and say "thanks for being our backup plan, here's your cut?"

This sounds like a lot of hot air.  Why is this not in the rumor forum?

ok one the deal was made to seen if SOE can make swg  the second bigest mmmrogp by 2008.AND if they cant they will ahve to shut down swg and ever if swg is Successful lucas arts will have to let bioware release They Star wars mmorpg ok so anyw ay soe cant stop bioware from  releasing they star wars mmorpg ok.

I could barely understand that and no, it's not okay -- you haven't answered my questions.

OK look  when Lucas arts gave bioware the star wars rights to make a other star wars mmorpg SOE had to shut down they mmorpg but they did not want to so they made a deal where they got two year to get SWG up to around 500k Subs to get galaxies making money again and if soe can not do this by 2008 they will have to shut down galaxies and if they can galaxies making money again ann get subs up to 500k then they can keep SWG going and not have to shut ti down.either way  Bioware can stil release They star wars mmorpg and what will that mena is that two star wars mmorpg will be out their ok.

Hell is other people. Jean Paul Sartre.

If not for the three words that the OP actually either spelled right or  used in proper context, I'd think they were completely ILLITERATE (don't they have schools in FL?.)   This  was one of the most complete and thorough wastes of time (and eyesight)  for anyone that read this post.  I feel dumber just for having "tried" to understand the OP's gibberish and  what i did manage to get from it  was nothing more than conjecture and speculation.  /sigh     man the world is truely,   "full of stupid people".

OP-  Not only is your English HORRIBLE, but the main point is that you're telling all of us this information with no PROOF.  You keep saying "Soe will do this, LA will do that"  But how do you know?  You're just guessing.   Which makes this thread pointless.  And btw, that was the worst comeback of all time.

RIP: pre-CU & pre-NGE

For God's sake, people....STOP QUOTING the OP!!!

And to the OP.  My friend....I read your reason for posting here rather than in the "rumor" forum....but you must make a better effort to not misrepresent your speculations and/or dreams as fact that has happened or may happen.  For example:

You state repeatedly that LA gave Bioware the go-ahead to create a Star Wars MMORPG....you have no ability to prove any such thing, so don't say it as if it's a fact.

Lastly...your comeback was horrible.  You may want to consider NOT posting for about 1 week as your self-imposed punishment for getting pwned.

SWG: Jess Youngstar (CIA) - Ahazi
CoH: Blue Horizon (CIA) - Liberty

What if BioWare needs this laison not for Lucas Arts but Wizards of the Coast?   Remeber they did Balder's Gate.  They could be gearing up for another venture in to the Forgotten Realms which is an IP of quite some worth.

With the lackluster performance of DDO, Wizards might be thinking this way.  Just consider it for a moment.
