A Kotor mmo sounds like a great thing but also sounds like the NGE all over again just during a different time.

"Where should the story pic up, before or after episodes 1-6?"

I think the story should stay where it is with SWG, inbetween episode 4 and 5.

"Who should get the license for the next Star Wars Online game?"

It depends. SoE had a really great game before the NGE, the CU was kinda hard to adjust to but was a nice change to the game. I think what really took the cake was when SoE lied to their player base, released a expansion an changed the entire game a week later. Making Jedi as a starting profession was a major mistake, it destroyed the entire feeling of being in the GCW and players didn't really have that great profession to work towards to anymore. Recently they have been making some changes with the game that have increased the difficulty an refresh the game but end game content is still lacking overall. Now who should get the license for the next Star Wars mmo its a hard choice. Everyone thinks that Bioware is the perfect choice because they made kotor an expect the game play to be exactly the same along with the story but I really don't wanna see millions of jedi players running around. I really don't see LA giving up an throwing SWG out tho. Just my opinions.

Why would you say that?  I'm not disagreeing at this point, I just don't see any features in AoC that would resemble SWG-original.

I just remember when people in these SWG forums were going on and on abount DnL and well. We all know how that turned out hahahaha. Sigh. O'well we've survived.

Hopefully SwG2 is Old Republic Vs. Sith. Then people could have there force users be more entwined within the story instead of putting the story line where jedi are supposed to be hunted to dam near extinction and yet they are all over.

Before or after the movies would be great.

For before you have KOTOR with Republic and Jedi v The SIth, for after you have it set during the Jedi Knight 2 game with the Republic v The Remnant. Both ways you can have alot of Jedi and Sith without hurting the lore.

Kotor = Single Player not MMO.

Kotor will = one proffession Jedi.

Kotor wil = bash and slash.

Kotor will = obtain loot and get gear end of gaming experience.

Have fun playing a single player MMO.
