Seriously now here's my postive prophecy.

SWG changed. Now that they have temporarily token down all the servers for updates and the house purge I believe that the dev team will use the emptiness of the servers land will justify themselves to rollback to Pre-Combat Upgrade.

I'll dust off my 7 accounts.

Not that I'm going to hold my breath for a classic server, but SOE also swore they'd never bring CH back and it took this long for them to bring back some version of it.

What I wish would happen, although I know it won't, is SOE would lose rights to SWG, one of the people who created pre-CU would get it *cough* he has his own company now *cough* and there would be a roll back to pre-cu while SWG2 was worked on.  SWG2 would be a polished version of pre-cu with lots of stuff added using whatever technology the person is currently working on. (pre-cu was ahead of its time and supposedly a developer's nightmare, maybe new technology could handle a game that complex)  I wish this was the reason the game worlds the person is working on have not been announced.  Being as this is highly unlikely, I can only wait (impatiently ) until he comes out with whatever he is working on and that it will be a lot like pre-cu since he had a part in the 2 big "sandbox" games.  (my impatience is the big reason I wish he could get ahold of SWG and release it in its pre-cu version, that's the quickest way I can think of to get the kind of game I want to play)

And your going to give them money after they f--ke up the game?  Make you wait over 2 years since the CU to roll back?  you have a snowballs chance in hell for that to happen, and if it did SMED would be the one in hell holding the snowball.

I don't care who holds the snowball. The fact is simple I played SWG (4 accounts {and i played them all}) because it was fun and I loved it. I didn't care who controlled teh servers and until the nGE i didn't really know who john Smedley was and I still don't care.

Sure SOE could careless about the players, well I don't worry about how their stock is doing or what their profit magines are. I wanted to play a game that's all and if they brought it back tomorrow they would like get about $720 a year from me.

Yes I would re-sub and play again.  The best means of expressing my approval or disapproval to all levels of management regarding changes isnt conveyed by posting on forums or PM'ing a dev.  Its voting with my feet and/or wallet.  Then the message is in black and white (or black & red, for the accounting dept).
