I'm starting a new trader and am doing the missions that the trader in the hanger bay has me do. I got through most bun then hit a snag. He told me to craft a mineral survey device but i don't have that in me crafting tool schematics? Does any body know what to do any help would be nice.

The only thing that i had was that maybe that i needed  to get a higher level, I'm only level 7 at the moment.

Also i can see the schematic in my data pad crafting schematics. I tried dragging and dropping but still nothing happens.

As a crafter you should have this listed within your general schematics.   All traders can make survey devices as this is a needed item for all trader types.   If you really do not have it contact SoE support. 

For those of you that think you will not get a response... I contacted them this Saturday since I hit a bugged quest... In less than 3 hours they fixed it all up for me, and sent me a nice response letting me know what happened.  Usually I am not a big SoE fan, but that type of response is one hell of a way to make an impression on me.

I had a housing issue (house dropped below ground level and I couldn't get to terminal to pack it up).

Fixed in less than 48 hours. I think they are fixing some things over there at Sony. Can't argue with that...
