So what does it take to get the game SWG to the way it was and the older players to?
I just started an account to see what the fuss is about , I really get the feeling of loss and disappointment though out the community . So how hard or impossible would it be for SOE to open 1 or 2 servers with the old version I mean they did it with EQ 1+2? Or if they cant or cant be bothered ,open it for the community like the game Freelancer(forget whos release it was)Im sure the community would have enough programmers and people to generate funds and donations to the cause of bringing back what they grew to love.? I believe Freelancer is still going well from the dedication of its player based community. Its just a thought and I have no idea of the implications or costs it would take to achieve them so plz dont grill me. |

Oh god i really want the old SWG back :( I used to fucking love this game, haha. Yeah, why dont just open two servers? Tough, they would be rather packed with people. |

I'd love to get back pre-jedi servers. That was the most fun i've ever had on an mmo to this day.

I would love to play on a Pre-CU server, but I would not ever pay SOE to play a game again. EVER! For some reason, I do not believe SOE will ever admit they made the biggest mistake in gaming history and give in to open a Pre-anything server. I was there when they ignored us on their own forums when these "improvements" went live, and was among those that grudgingly closed accounts when it became clear that SOE cares not one iota about it's customers. They honestly believed they did right with what they did. Oh well... I have been keeping track and supporting of some of the emulations out there, and this may be our only chance to see the game we love return in any form. You can search the internet and get info on a few different attempts on the emulations. Two seem about ready to go live, and I look forward to these with great anticipation. |

I support this thread, though I didn't even play NGE, and I am downloading it now to give it a try. I would kill, literally KILL to get pre-garbage SWG back. |

I WANT MY OLD GAME BACK!!!!! There, I said it. I actually tried to accept the NGE, but I just couldn't play it (I gave it a month into NGE, then I quit)... They are saying the present SWG is good and healthy, but IT ISN'T THE GAME THAT I BOUGHT!!

Do we really have to have of these threads almost everyday? Seems like everytime I turn around someone widget has posted this again! GET OVER IT!!! No one loved pre-nge SWG more than me but this is just manic behavior now. |

Just introducing painted furniture and stuff like that every few months is bs.. they should do something REAL about this game.. It had huge potential! In fact they should make the game free for all except people playing jedis. That would control the number. And to earn money they should make a huge expansion with planets you can only visit if you are a paid subscriber..

people can moan/whine/winge all they want to tbh , but clinging on to this game so badly is getting rather pathethic . SOE allready told officially it was a mistake to put on the update, BUT its impossible to reroll the servers to the old status . Having that said , let's all move on <.< |

We have gotten over a Rollback of the servers. I personally would like to see a Classic server created. |

yeah, and along with the classic server, should give players back all the assets they surrendered upon leaving... nice dream... never gonna happen unless they release an open source for the player base to do it! |
