Nice link. Bookmarked. Seeing pics from beta brings back my own memories.

Best game ever, in my opinion. Games are meant to be fun and memorable. I could spend a weekend talking about all of the fun memories I have about SWG and still not be done. I'd be hard-pressed to fill an hour about any other game, MMO or otherwise.

RIP SWG.

It is still out there, but ofc time has passed and age is showing. And there are much better MMOs on the market atm.

Great link...great blog site! I noticed while the Pre_CU blog continues with current updates, the writer for the SWTOR blog abandoned it after August 2012.

best MMO ever created to date

I'm hoping Star Citizen can capture at least some of what SWG had in its space world

Star Citizen is looking interesting. Though Im also hoping The Repopulation can fill part of that void

Yeah. Post SWG you have to get your Star Wars and your MMO fixes from different places. Was nice to have both in SWG.

Sadly I never got the chance to actually play SWG, and I regret it so damn much. I have a few friends who were really into that game and they have stories for daaaays haha. And I definitely feel for everyone when it comes to the game being taken down like that, a very sad moment for the MMO industry. I would really like to see a reboot of SWG, with the JTL update on a new engine. And maybe CoX (City of Heroes/Villains) as well (That one I actually did play ALOT)

Here Siggy Siggy!
