Ive recently returned after a few years break (new account)

My character is level 8 and a structure creater.

I've bought from the market (because I can't make them yet) a House and a Personal Mineral Extracter. The trouble is I can't seem to add fuel to the Extracter and for the house and extracter I can't seem to put money in for Maintance. I press the option and nothing happens.

Also does the bank have an item storage facility? I can't seem to get that to work either.

What am I missing here?

Well for power your gonna want to find i believe radiative power to run the harvestor. Banks have storage but when you first click on them you have to  radial  it and wait til the storage option comes up unless this has been changed in the last few months. You should be able to add the money and power once you have found a place to put it down. Use a mineral sampler its a low level artisan deed you should be able to make and use it to find a high percentage spawn. Current not subed or i could help more. Hope this gets you somewhere.

Also if you find your having a hard time its good to look into guilds that need crafters that will help harvest cheap or low stated mats to help you grind up faster. The other option is either grinding a combat toon through the starter quest or getting a bm pet to use on your trader to run them, Use the money from the junk loot items and rewards to get a grinding bag for structures trader and you can get through the grind with one bag in about 2-5 hours depending on how quick you are. Search the SWG forums or ask around theres probably someone that will take the time to help you get a good guide on the best way to grind it.
