I would be mighty surprised if it was NOT a Clone Wars era setting.

Like the replier before me, I'm quite certain it will be another Class + Level system like most other games.  Ah, the lack of innovation these days...

agree! I would love both!

With Clone Wars I can almost see a WARHAMMER ONLINE style of play. You know a very PVP centric game. I do hate the lack of depth and complexity WAR brings to the table. However, at this point I just want a new STARWARS game.

1..I really am hoping for KoTOR, but I have a feeling it's going to be CW; even though I don't want CWs I will play it.

2..I don't think it will be sandbox, which sucks, but if they go a similar route like KoTOR 1 and 2 I will be ok with that.

3..I am hoping it will be release by Christmas at least, if not then very early 2009.

4..For the sake of LA and Bioware, they better not be.  If they were dumb enough to involve $OE (Screw Over Everyone) then they game would be vaporware from day 1.

*Yes I do want quality and qaunity.

*I want the very best DX-10 game to be availible.

*I do want a great sandbox PVP game with elements of Raiding and strong PVE.

*I do hope it will be out by the end of this year but lets be reasonable...no beta let alone a playable game has been anounced.

I guess we must wait and see, but I really with someone would say something to the effect "We are making a STARWARS mmorpg and it will be out sometime in the next 3 to 5 years". Anything to give hope you know.

I personaly hope neither but hope that Bioware is working on something truly unique, but as far my prediction, i feel if there is gonna be a new star wars mmo it's probebly going to be Clone Wars.....would be the safest bet.

If it's the teamup of Bioware/Lucas it will have the depth we are used getting from Bioware and it most certainly have Wowish elements due to the wants&needs from Lucas.

The game as describe'd in this reply, probeble 1/2 years from now, the game or MMORPG i would like to see might take another 3/5 years before tech is capable of developing the things i would love to see in a mmorpg.

Nah, don't think they will be involved, see no reason why they should.

1. KOTOR or CW doesn't really matter for me, something tell's me i want KOTOR but i don't know why.

2. I think it should be a graphical beauty, with DX 10 for sure.

3. I think a new SW MMO will be created in the next 2-3 year's.

4. I hope SOE won't be involved since they already messed up one SW MMO.

I think all the signs (the few that have been out there) point to Bioware working on a Clone Wars type MMO.  The reason i say this is because:

1-  there have been some postings of some materials that someone retrieved from the Bioware dumpster in Austin

2- Clone Wars is due out in theaters in August 2008.  Seems like whatever they have been working on in Austin for 2 years now definitely has their heads down, working towards a goal

3- if it were KOTOR, there is really no reason that they wouldnt take advantage of their enormous previous success with this intellectual property and plug the heck out of it, building up the hype

4- LucasArts is leasing StreamBase complex event processing for whatever they are cooking with BioWare.  LA Is notorious for all the movie tie-ins to products, video games, etc and the two big things on the horizon at the end of this year are 1- Indy 4 and 2- Clone Wars in theaters.

my money is on Clone Wars MMO.  if it's not announced within the next 60-90 days, it's gotta be something else, as the theatrical release is just around the corner.

Actually, the devs announce at the most recent E3 that the game was in playable form already, but still in Alpha stage.

Good call, it would make sense because LA likes to tie its movies in with products likes toys and games.  The last three episodes had a major game release around the same time.  That being said and with what you just said above, I will agree and assume it will be CW if its announce within the next 90 days.

I still would think a KoTOR MMO would be a lot better story-wise, because it's unwritten pretty much and BioWare has an awesome story writing staff.
