Im about to start. But I can't decide between Jedi, Officer or Smuggler. I usually enjoy grouping and supporting, but soloing is a good choice too. Can I do smugling quest being an officer or a Jedi, for example? I think... I cant really decide. Any advice?

Grouping is only needed for high end content that is deliberately made too difficult to solo. The catch of course is finding enough active players to group with; since the NGE drove much of the population away, it's much harder to find a pick up group on many servers to take on group oriented combat. Your best bet is to find a PA/guild to join that regularly assembles groups for the high end content that needs multiple players to take on. You get one free profession respec if you decide to switch profs; after the first one, they start costing credits and the cost increases with each respec. |
