Too late, LA has partnered with Bioware, me thinks KOTOR:O is on the horizon. Besides... even if SOE DID finally do a pre-cu SWG, I don't think I could ever go back, SOE's cut was deep and what's to stop SOE from messing up again? I'd rather take my chances with Bioware.

Besides if they did put up Pre-CU Servers they would still have to fix all the bugs and whatnot from it. They cant even do that with product they have now!

But then Bioware could be partnered with both of those to continue making console games based on those IPs and make a completely different MMO.

I think Deadmeat would cut a pre cu server to ribbons. He would not know how to support it. There are no new star wars mmo's being worked on. It is all a rumor.

Well, I want to vote but I know the game would just be ruined as it is in the hands of SOE.

Yes, I would pay to play on a pre-CU server again but I have to remember that SOE would be at the helm, which means they will destroy it.....the cycle will repeat itself.  It is not worth the frustration.

I used to be a SOE fanboi but I stopped about a year ago....in fact.  I will more than likely not purchase anything they publish based on their business practices.  There is too much competition in the market now...no need to treat your customer base like fecal matter.

   I see, however you are but one person. As you are entitled to your opinion, others are as well. What say the public!?!

Wrong. Pre-CU SWG still exists. I play all the time.

Unfortunately, we're not allowed to speak of "where" or "how" here at mmorpg.com , but those who wish to find it, can. 1000 new registered accounts this last week, up to over 52,000.

Glad to hear that that which must not be mentioned is off the ground and running well :)

With that said, SWG's time has come and gone.  It was a blast while it lasted, and had this happened a couple years ago I woulda been all over it.  Now, well, I am having a blast in Warhammer Online and patiently awaiting the announcement of BioWare's MMO :)

If SOE had done this when the poo hit the fan, I mighta given them a second chance.  The incessant denials that they had screwed the pooch and that it was a 'good decision poorly executed' and all the other bs has made me an individual that will never buy an SOE product, ever.  I am pretty sure there are a good number of people who join me in my sentiments :)

And you'll be wasting your time if you are expecting a game that is ANYTHING like the original SWG. The devs of KotorO are WoW fans and it's going to be aimed at the MASS MARKET. SWG was a niche game and was changed to appeal to the MASS MARKET.

What you will get in KotorO is a more polished and coherent version of what SWG is now.

It makes me laugh when I see the "vets" getting excited about KotorO.
