First, why is the Art guy in on gameplay mechanics?

Second, when will they get to REAL questions that the community has posted such as when they plan to overturn the current idea of NOT implementing a "free form" inventory system, and player item looting, like was in Planetside 1?

Not interested in what this video offers, and I feel it's merely a ploy yo avoid serious questions :(.

They have answered those questions several times on the PSU forums, and have been very forthcoming with information on those topics.

It basically boils down to ease of use as well as balance. I'm sorry you aren't happy with the answers given but so far the devs have not been dodging the hard questions; this was a podcast about NS vehicles, not player classes.

If its gonna free 2 play .... Whether they avoid or not... It will be free to find out.

A PVP game that is F2P = no thx.

I would of purchased this game and i would have had hours of fun playing PVP with others, but no way will i play a Pay2Win game.

where do you get the idea that it will be Pay2Win? FTP with cashshop doesn't mean Play2Win... go home troll

@Axllow18, I agree...  The removal of the inventory system is for ease of play.  I dislike it a lot but it certainly is not a game breaking feature...  More of just another annoying sign of games being dumbed down to try to capture a more 'casual audience' = pathetic.

However, PS was an amazing game and even with some dumbing down, PS2 will also be wonderful...  Regardless of a couple dumbed down mechanics and videos like this one that are embarassingly unprofessional to the point where I cringed a few times watching it...  It is half refreshing, half embarassing.  :p

You must be very naive if you think a PVP game that must make money will only  have cosmetic / fluff items in the cash shop.

Anyone with half a brain can visulize what items will be for sale in the cashshop.

What about curb feelers?  I want to be able to equip curb feelers.

Basing off of Sony Online past p2p options such as swg card addition. It will be indeed cosmetic but on epic scale. Usually sounds, interactions, way better graphics etc for those that choose to buy things. Basicly, if you want to look cool in this game, you have to buy it. Will they add item enhancements ? XP buffs, in game currency buff etc? No doubt about it. It was mention sometime ago before the offical announcments, " we love the league of legends formula" .

If so, this is the way that it is done there, so pay to win is semi true as you will probably be able to buy xp buffs etc. Not gear, but level quicker, etc... to many that is pay to win.

People judge before getting evidence or facts, L2Read what they ahve been saying.

It WIL NOT be PAY to WIN.

Like GW2 it will contain cosmetic skins and a membership that might level you up faster with gear progression.

But you wont be seeing a gun with OP stats for sale in the shop or something.
