I played EQOA for a while back in the day.  But the game has declined.  I wish they moved it over to the PSP.

The game is still going strong. New players and adventures all of the time.

As for the PSP aspect, I doubt if that will ever happen, but it would be cool considering I have to travl all around the world with my job.  A nice touch would be to manage your auctions and banking on that little contraption. Now, that would be cool!

EQOA is on ps2, so don't expect it on a psp that can run ps1 game graphics. Even if they wnated to, they would have to use another engine to run it and recreate textures and models for that engine, etc etc etc. Would be cool idea, but Sony needs a bigger profit incentive for this type of thing.

I'd rather it be ported to PC myself. I can't stand having to play MMO's on anything other than a PC anymore. They made FFXI playable on PC and PS2 both. I don't see how it could be that difficult to make a PC version and make it work with the PS2 servers or make the PS2 version work on the PC version servers. Like a lot of people who play(ed) EQOA it was my very first MMO. I miss it a lot at times but not enough to fire up my PS2 again. If it was made playable on PC I bet a lot of people would play it again that stopped. If not ported to PC atleast make a new expansion and port it to PS3 please. I could probably stomach playing an MMO on PS3.

If you know the enemy and you know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.

Hm..

Ever play Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops?  Better than PS2 graphics.  No lag.  All good.

The PSP is more than capable of running a port of this game.

*edit*:  The PSP now runs PS1 games via the PS Network (PS3), and I've yet to see a game available for download that looks better than a PSP title.

This would be a sweet add to the PS3 store and would get more the game going again...maybe...Or they could make a EQOA2 and release that through the store....or not....

In a recent live chat, the developers discussed the possibility of a PS3 download of the game. Also, they may be considering a sequel. This depends on the dicision makers above them.

Itd be good if it was PSP, and free 2 play.  Its just not good enough or well populated enough to be p2p IMO

Yea I think if could be good.  I was one of the first bunch,  and played it on and off through time.   i eventually b/c of the lack of cummunity,  and the fees goin up for a game though great,  was falling behing in comparison.  Would love to see it,  or better yet a improved sequel,  and with the remote play with the PS3,  the propose ability to played you games from you PSP anyway,  it would be amazing
