So I installed the game. It worked, but wasn't my type of game. I did get the game for free in a giveaway somewhere...but the problem came with uninstalling it.
You see, normally when I uninstall games (even old ones), ccleaner only removes a few registry entries.
Dawn of Fantasy literally added over 1000 (yes over 1000) registry entries into my windows registry. Never have I had a program or game or anything add that much junk into the registry. CCleaner cleaned it all up (after two scans), and I didn't have any noticable problem...but to add that many registry entries? It didn't come from any other program, as it all had names related to DoF.
Just thought I would give you a warning before installing it. I'm not sure why it added that much to the registry, but all I can think is it is really bad programming and could potentially damage the OS. Current MMOs: Defiance, Guild Wars 2, TERA, SWTOR |
