On the DnL site, someone, not an AD person or mod, posted that the final decision will be October 30th. Not sure if that means Oct 2nd was the day for the closing arguements and then the judge has to render his final decision, or It's BS. I guess we can only truely know if _Pix_ lets us know, or someone stumbles across a news report on it. |

The final speeches took place last Thursday, October 2nd, as planned. The Judge announced the verdict was to be reached on October 31, i.e. in less than 4 weeks. |

There are two possibilities : - if it's possible, both sides can appeal of the decision -> the case will be rejudged again - if it's possible, both sides can ask a court to break the decision : this court will look if the judgement is juridically correct, and decides if it juridically validated or not. If it's not, the case takes another round. For both options, however, there is a risk : french justice does not like at all to be considered as stupid - if the appeal is not justified (ie a lame delay tactic), the court will not hesitate to make the condamnation even heavier. |
