Many of the changes seek to address the most common concerns voiced by players over the months since launch. Among other things, the team will be working to balance the economy and rising inflation, making sure players receive better loot for harder work and more.

ArcheAge's Loyalty Store is that much richer this week, thanks to the addition of the Rumbling Archeum Tree Saplings, which can be harvested for Archeum Crystals (and are more likely to become Thunderstruck), and the Sloth Glider, which may be the best item made for any game.

According to televangelist Pat Robertson, ArcheAge, Dungeons & Dragons and games like them can be an invitation to demonic possession. You have to see and hear it to believe it.

  • Apex Disabled in Game

A short post on the ArcheAge forum has admitted that there is an "exploit bug" that is being investigated by the team. In the meantime, Apex has been disabled in the game. Trion has been roundly criticized lately for the continuing issues surrounding Apex and the appearance of a duplication bug that has been an ongoing issue since beta.

  • Scott Hartsman Responds to APEX "Dupe"

Trion's CEO Scott Hartsman has issued an official response to the allegation that there is a duplication bug for APEX currency. APEX is purchased with real world dollars and, when opened, yields in-game credits. Players have alleged that this is an issue that has been in the game since alpha.

  • Review in Progress #4 – A Hard Lesson in Safe Trade

As you might recall last week, I obtained my first real seafaring ship: the clipper. One of ArcheAge's biggest selling points, at least in my eyes, is the crafting and trade game. There are two ways to go about it too: the safe way where you don't have to worry about danger (but get less reward), or the dangerous way where you have to go into enemy territory (but the payoff is significantly larger). This past week, I learned the difference between the two the hard way.

  • Trion Responds to Land Claim Hacking Reports

For the past couple of weeks, players have been reporting very suspicious activity on expired housing plots in ArcheAge.
