IGC is looking to expand into another MMO with ArcheAge. Right now we're looking for players, leaders, and experienced PvE and PvP players among them. Our multi-game community is about 150 players, across 3 major MMORPGs and 2 "Gamer Groups" (LoL and MWO). Whenever a big title catches our eye, we seek to bring new players into the fold and add another branch to our growing tree. We feel that ArcheAge has a promising future in the gaming world and our gaming community!

So we're looking for YOU, the player interested in ArcheAge to join us in our new adventure. We are not only looking for experienced, core players, but also those with the talent, time, and desire to lead our new chapter too. This is a great opportunity for someone to not just join our community, but leave a long-lasting mark with us. IGC grows because people in current chapters are willing to start new chapters, but it also grows when we bring in new people with the drive to succeed.

As a group, we are semi-hardcore players. That is, hardcore players who perhaps don't have the time or energy to be super hardcore like we used to be in our 20s. We have families, kids, and careers now. We are a working-man's community. That doesn't make us any less competitive than the kiddies though and our track record for guild proves that. IGC has left its mark, and continues to, in games such as FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, Rift, and Star Wars: The Old Republic! We want to do the same in ArcheAge!

At this time we have not decided on a a guild name, or elected leaders, but the community at IGC knows what it wants to do within the game.  We have been watching this game since it was announced and are incredibly excited that it now has an english website up and a few places we can start connecting with the community.  As we gather players to our community we will run a polls to let our players determine what events we want to spend the majority of our time on and what our guild name would be (working title: Archaic Impact).  One thing I can tell you is we generally don't RP, but if the guild wills it, so shall it be.

Just a reminder to people that might get confused this guild has nothing to with the international guild called Impact that is playing Korean retail at the moment. You could have added it to this recruitment thread as well.

Our guild has grown to over 20 players with varying interests! Right now we are discussing guild name and colors in our public section of our forums. We're also in the process of bringing in some officers to provide additional direction for the guild and make sure it's competitive come launch time. To clarify we're the Impact Gaming Community and we've been playing multiple MMOs (and some other multiplayer games) for over 2 years now together.  We're semi-hardcore bordering on hardcore and generally our guilds focus heavily on being top whatever aspects the game might include.  I think we have over 200 members between all our chapters.  Each individual chapter of IGC has an individual guild name with a word + Impact.  Current and previous chapters include:

Neutral Impact - FFXIV and FFXIV reboot - I believe they cleared all the content in FFXIV before it was shutdown for the reboot and may be the top progression guild in NA.  Would have to have Grey tell you more about this chapter.

Violent Impact - Rift (retired) and Guild Wars 2 - In Rift we were the top progression guild on our server clearing out all content before Trion could add more.  In GW2 we have a very active base of 15 members, hold weekly events, and are a dominate force on the Sea of Sorrows (Tier 1 WvW) server.

Radiant Impact - SWTOR division - I believe they are at the end of or nearing the final raid content in this game and are active in the PvP scene.

And of course we have an upcoming TESO chapter (Ancient Impact) as well as the Archeage chapter here which currently we are voting on potential names for the chapter.

In addition we have DOTA 2, League of Legends, and Mechwarrior Online gamer groups and a few other MMOs on our watch list for potential chapters.

You don't have to participate in community stuff if you join any IGC chapter, but joining an IGC chapter comes with several benefits ranging from professional organization tools for your guild on the website (event planners, forums, EQDKP modules, etc.), IGC swag, free contests to active community members, and participation in the community podcast.

Anyway whether you are a hardcore player of a single MMO or just love MMOs (and other multiplayer games) in general there are plenty of reasons to join IGC.  I'm not a recruitment officer of any guild chapter. I'm just a regular member, so consider this a testimonial to how awesome IGC is.
