    Wargaming.net has announced that World of Tanks player registrations have crossed the 40 million mark and that over 500,000 concurrent users were recently logged into the Russian WoT server. Wargaming.net expects the numbers to continue to grow with the recent release of the v8.0 update.

  • Update 8.0 Live in NA Today, EU Tomorrow

    Wargaming.net has announced that the World of Tanks update v8.0 will go live on North American servers today and on European servers on September 27th. The update brings the overhauled physics engine into the game which, according to the dev team, gives the tanks more realistic behavior.

  • v7.5 Goes Live in the EU

    Wargaming.net has announced that the World of Tanks v7.5 patch is now live on EU servers and will go live in North America on August 2nd. Update 7.5 features new Tier 10 medium tanks and tank destroyers, premium vehicles, battling arenas, as well as new medals and titles.

  • Soviet Tank Changes in 7.3

    Wargaming.net has released the first details of the v7.3 patch for World of Tanks. In the upcoming patch, Soviet tanks will take center stage. Most notably, the Soviet Heavy Tank tree will be divided into two distinct parts. In addition, a new battle arena, the South Coast and the first map set in Asia, the Dragon's Ridge will be deployed in the update.

  • Game Update v7.2 Deployed

    Wargaming.net has announced that patch v7.2 has officially been deployed on all World of Tanks servers. The new patch brings two new maps, the Italian Province and the American Live Oaks, into the game as well as American tanks with rotating turrets. It also brings 22 all-new crew skills and perks for virtual tankmen to master as well as an overhauled tutorial for new players.

  • Double Digit Millions Per Month

    Victor Kislyi, the CEO of Wargaming.net, has revealed that World of Tanks is making "double digit millions" per month. In addition, Kislyi reported that the team has grown to over 800 employees around the world and hinted at the WoT deployment in Vietnam, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Philippines. Further, Wargaming.net is considering South American and Middle Eastern releases as well.
