The new, the original, neither was good, nor bad, but different. The original series played during the 70's when what was allowed on television was much more restrictive so writers had to look in different places than today for entertaining and engaging story lines. As someone that grew up on Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, and Flash Gordon I can tell you those shows were infinately entertaining and well done, for their time. However, it is completely unfair and superficial to simply call them garbage because they aren't the high budget, oversexed, violence fests that today's youth on weened on.

The "new" series of battlestar galatica was so good, it is such a shame it ended. For someone to say that the original was better is really embarasing. seriously how the F could that pile of shite be even shown on TV?

I don't see how they can call this true battlestar galactica.  the remake of the show sucked the cylons weren't women they were machines led by baltar everything about the remake of the show to this is just plain wrong for us true old school battlestar galacticans.
