Friend bought it for me the other month and I never played (partly due to lack of time). But got some free time and decided to use it. The story is really good, on par with how I expect Star Wars to be. The world is really immersive and its huge too...but not so much that I get lost or have no idea what to do. The side activities outside of combat are rather fun as well, which is nice.

Also, community is great (for the most part)...always some bad apples among a community. But people I've met have been really friendly, and all the places I've been to have been really active. I don't see the game dying any time soon...as chat is always really busy.

Content seems to come out at a nice pace, much faster than Blizzard which is like a race between a snail and another snail between updates.

Definitely recommend at least giving it a try. It comes a trial I think. I don't know though, didn't use it if there was.

MMORPG.com is like 4chan, but for gamers.

WoW already does WoW good.

PvPers that gank newbies, are carebears. They don't want a challenge (like a carebear), they just want easy mode (like a carebear) and a no challenge combat (like a carebear).

I thought this was, essentially, Free Realms in Star Wars form.

You have to buy a client?
