Game: Battle of the Immortals
i enjoy the game. it is a typical F2P mmo so don't expect innovation like imperator667 has (he's hating on the game as much as he can, but not providing any kind of feedback). every game has a style and not every player likes the style of every game. do your research before having high hopes and being disappointed. all in all, it's a change of pace for me in the 2.5d look, but still fun.
it's from perfect world entertainment.. I played their other releases and I hated the grind.. therefore.. if you dont like to grind in an mmo.. dont even bother playing.. they sure do know how to make you grind.. grind.. and then grind some more.. just my 2 cents
This game is for old school gamers bored with all mmo out there atm, a LOT of events, many ways to lvl up thro events, many upgrading systems for weapons and armor, many pets and mounts (upgradable aswell), crafting, master/student, friends buffs, etc ...
But the best for me is the community, i usually play solo, and it is the first mmo in 2 years that i use my friendlist, many great people helping each others
Well imho just try the game till lvl 45/50, it's easy and fast to get there, maybe 10h max to make an idea and see if you like it (try every kind of events aswell) personnaly i'm kind of addicted already (lvl 61 so far).
tho there are still lacking points, as character creation (1 race, 5 classes, 5/6 faces, 5/6 hairs, the end), combats (mainly auto-attack 80% of the time cuz skills use a lot of mana, high cd and not so many skills btw) and the cash sop system (not really unbalancing the game but cs item make upgrading easier, and getting bag slots is a must have :/)
Looks kind of cool but I didn't see a whole lot that made me really want to try it.

Wed Apr 14 2010 4:51PM ReportYo I'm in the Closed Beta for this, and it's the most refreshing MMO I've played in a while. Not like anything I've ever played before.

Mon Apr 19 2010 4:43AM ReportI've been playing the CB for this game. Pretty damn good. It's been a long time since I lost sleep over an MMO.
The last game I was super hardcore into was UO, which was decades ago. (Well maybe just one decade.)
Highly encourage anyoen to check out this game.
