Monato Esprit Overview and Recent Content
Monato Esprit is a 3D fantasy MMORPG aimed at younger and more casual gamers. The graphics are cute and manga-inspired, and there is no PvP. Instead, each player creates a character, all of which are of the same race (Archons) but with different characteristics such as gender, hair and eye color, and others such as zodiac signs and season. Gameplay is cooperative, and the storyline concerns the land of Monato Esprit, which is seeing trouble in the form of nightmares plaguing the land after its protective force was poisoned. The Archons are banding together to fight the evil in their homeland. There are the usual quests and leveling up via hunting, but Monato Esprit also features instanced dungeons. Each dungeon is individually generated.
Monato Esprit is free to play, and uses the MetaTIX virtual currency for its cash shop. MetaTIX is designed to be a virtual currency that works across different games, and Monato Esprit is the first to use it. MetaTIX are used for items such as tickets to exclusive dungeons.
