    According to a short and sweet post on the En Masse Entertainment TERA page, a new in-game event will kick off on March 20th. Called Dracoloth Sovereign Invasion, the dracoloths are too large for a single player to take down alone, necessitating the formation of groups.

  • Celebratin' The Wearin' o'the Green

    TERA players can celebrate St. Patrick's Day in game thanks to a new event that will begin on March 14th. The event will feature double dungeon drops, a chase featuring a tiny figure dressed in green, and a great chance to earn special lockbox rewards.

    Gameforge and En Masse Entertainment have announced that both the NA and EU versions of TERA are now free to play as of Tuesday, February 5th. Players will need to download a patched version of the game to access the F2P options.

    En Masse Entertainment has gifted all players with an extra seven days of free game time due to glitches getting players into the game following the F2P announcement last week. According to the post, all "past, present and future" players will receive the boon.

  • F2P 'Subscription-Free' Option Added

    En Masse Entertainment has announced that players will now have several options for playing TERA. Included in the new revenue model is a 'subscription-free' option as well as an 'elite status' option that gives 30-days of subscription-level play. The F2P option has no level cap or content restrictions. Current and former subscribers will be given permanent 'founder status' with exclusive benefits. The new plan goes into effect in February.

    NHN, the publisher of the Japanese & Korean versions of TERA, has announced that all servers will be converting to a free to play version in early 2013. Korean TERA servers will see F2P action on January 10th, with Japanese servers heading that way in mid-February.
