I have question for anyone who tried out beta. I was given a beta account awhile back, but I never tried it due to time constraints. My account is still considered active and as a "Founder".  Now I have the option of adding a subscription without actually having to buy the game. (Or so it seems) Now to my question.

We'll charge you the first payment on your TERA subscription once the 30 days of free game time ends (and you can contact us anytime if you need to cancel).

Meaning I get to try out the game for 30 days without charge? Even though I have never bought the game?

Want to know if anyone has tried this, with a beta account without actually buying the game for $60 bucks?

Ditto.  Not sure if they have buddy keys in the physical box, but if they do and someone has an NA key available I'd like to give it a shot before I drop $60 on it.

Just buy it, it will be the best $60 spent in your gaming life in my an seemingly a lot of other people's opinions.  Most of the negative commentary is just flat out not true and I don't know what they are talking about.  Some of the cons that have been mentioned that are true are:

Only 1 real tank and healing class

Quests are in the form of kill x # of this mob

The mention of a grind is laughable if you come across that one.  I level so fast and am constantly moving areas.  You only do 3-5 quests in an area before moving to the next spot.

Anyway, hope this helps convince you

I'm not doubting it's a wonderful game, I generally preffer to experience the game for myself rather then take the word of a stranger.

50 bucks is not a lot of money to part with, but I can still buy beer and fill up the tank in my car with that money.

So I'd rather try the game out before I invest. ;p

Personally I an just waiting for Raiderz to go into open beta.I played its alpha and Teras betas and I found it to be a better experience but that is just my opinion from the short amount of time that I spent in both games.

Well they had 5 cbt, 1 obt and 1 headstart all of them were super easy to get in to over the past 3 month.... honestly if you decide to not try any of them idk what to say lol.

O.O idk how you have a better experience with Raiderz when one its graphic sucks (but that doesn't really matter) but the fact entire game was so choppy and you can feel how choppy it is.

If you were in beta yes you still have to buy the game. Today I added a subscription but nothing happened because I had to buy the game first. Bought the game and are now golden. Kept my character too, no wipe was nice.

Beta invite does not equal free copy of game, you have to buy it.

Wasnt choppy for me and far more fun than Tera to me,if you think your opinion changes mine it doesnt.

And even if it was for you it is called and alpha for a reason.

Was choppy as hell for me, could visable see the frames skipping foward, and yes iknow its in alpha hope they polish the game up, its a good direction for games to be gone. Also idk if raiderz going to have pvp or pure pve. But one thing that worry me the most is the cash shop, perfect world entertaintment is know for their P2W cash shops sooo =\

Oddly my account say it's active as well, i tried the beta and have no interest in playing the game but just thought i'd mention it.

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

I didn't purchase the game, since i pre-ordered it awhile back. I cancelled the pre-ordered but picked the game back up since i was still in headstart and what not. What i did today was sub, i did the 14.99 and it didn't charge me, but it did say it was accepted, so i'll see what happens at the end of the week when the grace period ends.
