But everything I read points to FTP in the horizon, which if its like most.. will be B2W... I don't want to play a game like that, and would might as well just stick to wow.. any thoughts?

I personally don't see it going F2P any time soon, as they have not stated it would, neither in Korea nor NA, also TERA Taiwan is releasing soon which will bring quite a bit of revenue to BHS.

Theyre gonna merge the 3 pvp servers into 1 to increase the population, at least you'll get a nice experience.

I wouldn't return because there isn't much to return too. There aren't many updates for this game, which is a great shame.

 I've seen a moderate amount of updates in the time I have played TERA, in the last 5 months we have received, 2 new dungeons, 15v15 battleground with ranking, 1 new dungeon for glyphs and 3v3 ranked arena is coming in early December.

 

Also they even are doing an event as we speak...

I saw the event, that's sort of what enticed me to want to play again.
