You should have just done a poll of yes or no. I would vote no. 9 graphics 8 combat 4 quests 3 replay value 6 overall Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not. |

It's the best leveling experience I've had in an MMO. Not much to do at level cap although Nexus should be added "very soon" and battlegrounds to come later. In response to the OP, there are lots of dungeons to do while leveling up. PVP is mostly unorganized and only on PVP servers. To me it's basically vanilla WoW with much better combat/graphics. |

Originally posted by Yamota This is pretty much how I felt. It is typical questing MMO. I keep logging on and trying different things out, but I rarely last more than an hour. I also didn't know that battlegrounds are currently NOT part of the NA version, which was a massive let down. |

TERA is a good game. I played swtor for a bit before, and I think TERA was better for me. However, as many already pointed out, quests in TETA are very repetitive. Main storyline is somehow interesting, but i lost track what is happening anyway. However, I found that if u want to rush through quests u will get very board very quickly. Therefore, I started doing other things in tera than just quests. I started helping lowbes with quests, doing some crafting and enchanting, etc. This gives me good break from time to time from the quests.
Tl;dr U should try tera, but be ware of repetitive quests. |

At this moment, no. I've played up to lvl 49 and finally hit wall a little bit ago. I'll list my main reasons I will not be resubbing and hopefully give you a little insight into the game.
I wish the game had more depth. I truly do not know why they are charging a sub fee for this game. It just does not have anything special about it. However, it is a decent game in its own right. Just not a great one that can stand the test of time. BOOYAKA! |

I liked MMOs better when gamers didn't play them, and just geeks did. |

I'm resubbing. Great themepark with fantastic combat. I'm tired of MMO hopping. This will hold me nicely for the next few months at least. I just wish they'd hurry up with battlegrounds...
Playing: Rift and DayZ

I don't usualy like class and level systems in your average MMO and I find the questing to be dull. As for Tera I love the combat and the questing makes the game flow better so its not making it feel like its a grind.
I don't think I could go back to SWTOR combat after Tera combat I also dont usualy play a healer in MMO's yet I am playing a mystic in tera and love it due to the action thats needed to survive in the game. If you stand still your going to die even if your a tank. The pvp I am not realy intrested in but there are pvp servers I don't play on one so cant comment on those, but the Vanarch system will allow a guild to take control of provinces and set tax rates pvp status for that zone and what NPC's are used in the towns to train or sell items. With this comes guild quests and prestige from other guilds if you treat people well. From what I can gather you can either try and get voted in or fight your way in. The art style is refreshing and the Unreal engine has been worked will to make this game realy beautiful. The EnMass guys have thought about various things when it comes to the art style where a lot of MMO's fail at. Female characters will actualy sit side saddle on horses, if your character has long hair certain armours will put that hair up into a bun to stop clipping with the armour which gives it that something special. Shows you what work has gone into the game. I also like the fact it has collision detection turned on and why cant other new MMO's have this simple option for combat and pvp in their own games is a mystery to me. |

I would wait for a trial, if I was the one you were asking solely. Worst leveling experience I ve had in an MMO in years. Very boring quests, combat isn t as great as some are saying, at first maybe, but after awhile, not so much. BAMs are really nothing special, especially after doing 20 or so. It really is a quick leveling, nothing to do at end game MMO. All the "OMG OWPVP in this game is great." It can be fun, but when the "I can t wait for BGs to come out", OWPVP will be pretty much dead. I just don t think this game is better, then any P2P MMO out atm, so I can t suggest you try it on that alone. If you don t care about wasting money, then go for it, otherwise wait for a trial. |

Probably the best way is to make up your own mind by playing a trial of the game. Now I believe I can send you an invite for a trial from within my frogster account if you are interested in giving it a go. So if you do wish to try it out send me a message with your email and I'll see what I can do. |

Sure, it's a grind, but the aim/dodge, etc. combat and graphics make it more bearable in my opinion. Well, that and grouping with friends so you can get through quests faster and explore new places. I've had a bit more fun leveling after joining a guild too even though I typically lvl alone in most games (besides dungeons of course); adding the GvG challenge and guild convos helped a bit. |

There are currently at peak times 150-200 servers, most of them full or very well populated. Wait in the meanwhile for GuildWars 2 and look for the reactions if the game is worth it. And if you like pvp in general, currently many multiplayer games offer more fun than the latest mmorpgs. |
