Correction, I know Battlegrounds are quoted as "late summer" but do you have information for the Queen of Argon part 2, which is supposed to introduce Server vs. Server?
Just not worth my time anymore. |

Originally posted by Sythion Depends on what you consider as grind, as for my self I don't consider questing as grinding. Killing mobs over and over for only .002 exp is what I consider as grinding, which tera does not have. I did not forgot some pvp activities. duels, gvg, deathmatches etc. are all just owpvp
The time estimations are based on what we are getting right now in Korea. They are working on Rifts right now. Late summer battlegrounds will be introduced so i can only guess a major update like server invasions will be up next year.
Link or it didn't happen.
The last time BHS mentioned server invasion was 1 year ago where it evaluated to have new battlegrounds and gvg by autumn 2011 and rifts by winter 2012. After that a fourth major city (Juras Ark) and invasions. |

Originally posted by Deron_Barak I know... but that's old VERY OLD news. And they were reporting what Bluehole studios were planning last year. I don't need to remind you that : rifts were supposed to be live t3 2011 (they went live t1 2012 laggy as hell they are still fixing it) Agaia and Juras Ark live in t3 2011 (no news about that.... MIA) New battlegrounds in t3 2011 (maybe, MAYBE they will go live at the end of t3 2012) Server vs Server was meant for t4 2011 (no news about that ... MIA) That's what it's happening in Korea. I expect to have at least a 3 month "lag" for Western Tera.
And the same time they promised a new class, new Vanarch power, new continent..... promises, promises, promises. They are falling behind and don't follow their own schedule. |

Originally posted by EvilestTwin Tera and every other MMO. questing is basically that, go kill mobs, collect things, etc, find the thief who stole your mother's eggs and kill it. kill the king's assasin's , find the cook who stole the chickens, then kill it? the only MMO that diden't have that, are the ones with no quests, Pre Wow old school MMO. but back then, all you did was grinding killing mobs without a quest to tell you to do it. |

Originally posted by otacu Because updates are never behind schedule? Take it easy and be happy we have a company like EME that is getting us the KTERA content way before we should. Who knows that they are working on and when those things listed above will come about. The only thing mentioned so far has been Nexus and Battlegrounds. My point is that your comment about TERA being a PvE focused game is wrong. It mightnot have the organized PvP you personally like but that doesn't make it a PvE focused game. Just not worth my time anymore. |

For me it is , but then again it depends on your definition of pvp , while I enjoy BG and instanced pvp at times, it was a breath of fresh air to see world pvp actually occurring regularly in the upper levels this weekend. From "gank squads" to anti pk guilds and just random battles going on all across the zones I went through in the late teens on it was enjoyable. Personally , I'm sick of the standing around and queueing for some instanced glorified group duel. World pvp was actually going on on a pvp server , and it was obvious there were people that should have rolled on a pve server from the qq'ing going on from being killed. There are plenty of instanced group dueling pvp option games out there , but I'm enjoying seeing world pvp for a chance here. |

Truthfully I have a great time open world pvping in tera! I'm sick of all these games that only have bg grinding w/o any real open world pvping going on.... The guild v guild is alot of fun once you declare war on like 5 different guilds pvp is poping off everywhere! |

I think this game is going to be more PvE boasting the action group dungeon deal. I would hold off on getting the game at release if PvP is the drive of your gaming.
On the other hand, I would recommend getting EVE for your PvP/Sandbox fix and getting TERA for your carrot-on-a-stick dungeon crawling fix. Seems like such a good mix - I can't wait. |

Strictly solo is horribly wrong and I wonder if you even made it past lvl 5. The game will be mostly group PvE focused if you ask me with emphasis on dungeon crawling. I'm looking forward to this because the first dungeon I did was one of the funnest PvE experiences I've had in years. Going around with a group farming BAMs and world bosses was also quite a blast. These fights are pretty epic and they're a lot of fun. |

Hey look its zylaxx, i swear he has the "rooted animations" script typed in notepad so he can go into every single tera thread and copy/paste it. @OP, Tricky asnwered most of your questions(though BGs are getting revamped from the original versoin that was in korea, so they are not in at launch).

Originally posted by Zylaxx Can you not make stupid assumptions w/o playing the game? So far i have yet to experience any issue against range classes. And gl soloing past 30+ you can lvl at about 2-3x slower than people who group.
