Although I was able to get my BETA key through contacting EnMasse directly. Amazon & Bestbuy don't seem to understand the purpose of a BETA KEY via a preorder.
Below is a quote from live-chat with customer support: "Marlon:
If you preordered from Amazon.com OR Bestbuy, and are still waiting for your key. I suggest you contact customer support. An EnMasse GM literally told me that if Amazon.com gave me my preorder key from my actual preorder that I could give it to a friend. However, I will most likely end up canceling my preorder and ordering from EnMasse directly so i can get a key for my friend :D!

I ordered from Amazon and got mine in minutes. "I am not in a server with Gankers...THEY ARE IN A SERVER WITH ME!!!" |

i got my key right away from amazon.com.. not sure what went wrong with your order... I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. I suggest you ask to speak to that person's manager and calmly explain the situation, and how a beta key must be shipped before the release of the game in order to be useful. "I am not in a server with Gankers...THEY ARE IN A SERVER WITH ME!!!" |

Yeah, Gamestop failed to provide me with a key in my region so I contacted En Masse and they gladly gave me full access. |

My buddy got his key right after he preordered through Amazon. In fact the key I got from them before I cancelled to get Gamestop's code (I would have missed a day of CBT1 it turns out) works for another friend who plans to buy it.
So you preordered from Amazon, checked your email for a confirmation of the preorder and then waited for a second email with your beta key? It would not come in the same email as your preorder confirmation. Just FYI Just not worth my time anymore. |

I preordered from Amazon earlier this week and got the beta key email within a minute of my order confirmation... If the reps really won't help, maybe cancel your order and try again? |

Just as an update, since I just preorderd from Amazon.com (collector's). I had a beta key from curse.com for stage 4, which made my mind to preorder. Collector's is sold out from official site, so I preorderd from Amazon.com. Afterwards, I realized that if I did get a key, how would the preorder status (and char prog thru betas et al) be marked under my account from previous beta key. I submitted a ticket to En Masse, to which they promptly replied, no questions asked:
"Greetings fellow TERA gamer, Pretty awesome service I have to say, most other game companies I've submitted a ticket to have always replied in a general blanket response. *Not sure about getting early access unless I can use a downloaded version instead of waiting for the box in mail. But for me, this isn't really an issue, but that's just me. **I also got my amazon.com key within minutes via email. Though I don't know what to do with it now lol |

when you guys pre order and get a beta key is it only for the weekend events? or are you able to beta test anytime? |

Preordering TERA gets you into all these events:
http://tera.enmasse.com/news/posts/beta-test-schedule Which stinks because until open beta we have to wait two weeks lol. You can also get keys to one specific event via key giveaways. The beginning of this thread is not a problem anymore, retailers all have keys. Just not worth my time anymore. |

Oh, there are no persistent betas being handed out unfortunately, just the events as they come. I love it when I don't completely answer a question sorry lol.
Just not worth my time anymore. |

Amazon is my number 1 gaming resource. I won't pre-order my games from anyone else. |

I've also ordered from Amazon and got into the last few betas. I would contact customer service again. |

I think it has something to do with people pre-ordering just to get beta access and then cancel their pre-orders. |

My Amazon order processed fine and I received my key within minutes of submitting my purchase. Sorry about your hassle. Amazon customer service sounds exactly like how you described.
On another note, it's very encouraging to hear how En Masse is providing customer service. This is the second post I've read within a day regarding En Masse doing their job to "grease the wheel" and providing a positive outcome for customers in need of their help. Kudos. |
