i play tons of tpvp and WvW, and i cant tell what the hell is going on. this game isnt fun to watch at all due to its visceral and fast-paced combat. all the e-sports games are either slower paced, first person or top down view.
oh well at least it's hella fun to play...i just dont see it getting many views, or e-sports interest.
Good to watch for people who knows what's going on, if they would just make a team deathmatch thing it would be a lot easier to read. If someone dies = someone got a point.
In this it's hard to tell who's winning the battle without looking at the scoreboard.
I'm with umie on this one x.x
As fun, fast paced and skill oriented as the combat is when you're playing it... It's really not all that much to look at lol. There were some really cool parts that kept me watching, especially cutie's chieftan ks - portal out in the first game. I just don't get that "OMG" feeling from plays like I do watching something like a LoL match.
Depends on who you're watching. MiM vs TS had some good plays but like I said earlier. Just watching this match won't give you that.
Also, if the commentators can't give you an idea of what's going on and you can't look at who has the most capture points as well as the score to see who is winning, then I don't know what you're doing watching this game.
@Purutzil That's what I've noticed a couple of months ago...when you take away the spell effects you wouldn't be able to differentiate much from any class. Since we have no role systems nobody knows what's going on, it's total chaos.
In a game like LoL, we have many roles such as ADC, support, jungler, ap carry (mostly assasins) and top (mostly tank or initiator). There we can compare and we have an overview of things.
League of Legend released on October 27, 2009
Guild Wars 2 Released on August 28, 2012
You cant compare both games.
How about you show us some true pvp?
I would love to watch gw1 pvp , but not this piece of garbage that makes me almost puke. ( i stopped watching after 5sec-honestly!)
